Enjoyed our stay
The outlay of property is very confusing
Smack in the middle of Stellenbosch, availability of basement parking, good quality breakfast.
rooms were small and dated, but adequate.
Location superb - corner Dorp and Andringa Streets.

A strong disinfectant soap smell in the room.
The hotel is fairly unassuming from the road so dont be put off, once you get into the courtyard you can appreciate its size and historical past. The rooms are fairly small but adequate for a few nights, ours had been recenty decorated so was very clean. The location is excellent and you can walk pretty much anywhere around the town.
Super bonus is that it has underground parking and a lift to the hotel, it really makes all the difference after a days sight seeing in the district.
The breakfast was excellent, I mean EXCELLENT so dont miss it, it will set you up for the day.
The staff were all really friendly, helpful and made us feel at home - well done to the Team, a hotel is nothing without great staff and you certainly are that.
Question is would I go back?

Staff was very friendly. I enjoyed talking to them. The room was small but I didn't have a problem woth it at all. I found it very cozy. I would have like a bigger variety on the dinner menu, but I do understand that it might not be feasible. The parking is a bit difficult, but also I don't blame the hotel for that. Stellenbosch parking overall is a bit of a problem. However, I would stay at this venue again in future. Breakfast was good. I would have like flapjacks, but that is just a personal favorite.

Staff at RECEPTION were so lovely and the Guy that helped us park our car in the basement and carry our bags to our room was such a happy and helpful person
