A comfortable and welcoming stay.
Pros:

The hotel is historic and attractive. The room was comfortable and well furnished. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Stellenbosch.

We had a pleasant stay, and the team made us feel very welcome.
Pros:

It was in the center of the town. Eiekstad mall was walkable. Lots of restaurants around the hotel.
Its very safe to walk around this place.

Cons:

It was all good Cannot think of anything that i did not like except this one point:
It would be helpful to have a shelf or holder in the shower area for the soap and conditioner. At the moment, they’re kept by the washbasin, with no convenient place for them in the shower.

Pros:

The hotel is old and every finish is old and damaged

Cons:

Bedrooms are so small you can hardly stand next to the bed , there hardly any lights in the rooms , dark and dingy, the bathroom appliances are old and damaged
The first night I had an open sewerage pipe open in the kitchen smelling the entire apartment.
