Very disappointing stay — poorly prepared room, no air conditioning, loud street noise, dark entrance area and poor cust

The surrounding area looked pleasant and the exterior of the hotel gives a nice first impression.

Cons:

We booked the room for three people, as our daughter was travelling with us, but the bedding was prepared only for two guests. Since we arrived late in the evening and only the key cards had been left for us, it was difficult to contact the staff and get bedding for the third person.

When we arrived, the entrance area of the hotel was also very dark. While unloading our luggage from the car, we had to use the flashlights on our phones, which was very inconvenient and did not feel welcoming or safe.

The room had no air conditioning and was extremely hot due to the weather outside. We had to sleep with the windows open, but this did not help much. The windows were facing the street, where there was quite heavy traffic throughout the night. Because of the echo in the room, every passing car was very loud, so it was basically impossible to sleep.

In the morning we tried to discuss the situation with the hotel staff, but the attitude was rude and careless. We were told that there were no other rooms available and that if we did not like it, we could leave. We had booked two nights, but after such a bad night and poor handling of the situation, we left after the first night.

The breakfast was also very disappointing, with a very limited selection.

In my opinion, the actual guest experience did not meet 4-star standards at all.
