Chateau Inn and Suites

I just completed a lovely two week stay at the Chateau Inn & Suites while I recovered from surgery. My suite was clean, attractive, and comfortable, with a microwave, mini-fridge, and a cozy gas fireplace to warm the winter evenings. I was especially impressed by the level of service provided by the friendly and accommodating staff. They went above and beyond to be helpful. Spring Lake is a lovely seaside town, even off-season, and Chateau Inn & Suites provided a wonderful home base for my stay.

I had an event to get to and my car, unfortunately, decided to bar me from entry to get there….my key fob would not work! It was very dark out, I’d taken my keys on an hourlong very cold walk and I assumed it was frozen and useless. I asked Jeff at the front desk if I could just sit by the fireplace to warm my key fob up and try again. He was so kind…. offered me hot tea and then suggested we replace the battery, in case that was actually the problem. He replaced the battery FOR me and I was able to get into my car and depart for our family function.
This is hospitality at its finest. In a world filled with many who do their jobs without enthusiasm, Jeff has a kind attitude and was a remarkable problem solver. Thank you so much, Jeff!!!!

What a pleasant, classy, relaxing retreat. The Inn beautifully represented the shore town vibe. Quiet, well appointed, very clean, great attention to detail. Lovely, nicely decorated rooms and lobby. Fantastic location -especially for daily walks around the lake or to the ocean. The coffees and flavored carafes of water were a nice touch. All the staff we encountered were kind, professional and helpful. Looking forward to staying again on our next visit to NJ.

Clean, comfortable room in a very nice area

This is the 2nd time in 6 months I stayed at this hotel, both were awesome experiences! The staff members are incredible super nice and willing to help in anyway they can!! Love the coffee in the morning and fresh lemon and cucumber water available 24/7. Plenty of ice was always available and easily accessible. The cleaning staff are thorough and very accommodating. Every room in this Beautiful older hotel are nicely decorated and each room has there one personality. Based on your stay you can choose a room with cooking options, two room suite, 2 beds vs 1. I stayed in 2 different rooms each stay and loved both. The only complaint I have is the parking! The only days the parking was an issue for us was Friday and Saturday night if they were completely booked. You can park at the train station and it’s not even a block away. Overall would definitely recommend!

It was in a nice neiborhood and very clean

We enjoyed a lovely week's stay and enjoyed every minute! The staff was lovely and attentive. I enjoyed morning walks into town and on the boardwalk. It's a lovely inn in a wonderful town. I can't wait to return!

Very convenient for the local parks and shopping area. Excellent local deli, restaurants off licence and short walk to the beach. Very enjoyable stay.

Pictures on website deceiving. Room smelled stale & stuffy. Gnats in bathroom. Horribly disappointed. Very uncomfortable small room which was classified as a suite. Coffee offered was awful. Do not recommend & will not be going back

This is a very lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. It is within walking to the shopping district of Spring Lake, which is quite robust. The accomodations were very nice. My only complaint is that the in-wall A/C was pretty loud.

The pictures make it look so lovely yet it sure wasn't my cup of tea. We stayed in the separate house and I dont know if it is different than the main inn or what.

I was very disappointed. Just so old, but maybe people find that charming. The bathroom was so dreary and outdated. The grounds and the porch was an absolute mess. Looked like it hadn't been touched for weeks. The main reception area smelled of mildew. It hit you as soon as you opened the door.

A must stay!! Most accomodating hotel in spring lake!

Parking was awful and the room was really small. Forget climbing into the shower

Absolutely charming! Landscaping outstanding! Quiet and peaceful

First time staying there and I have to say everything was so beautiful. Great location close to the beach and downtown. We def will be back
