The hotel staff were truly amazing.
Due to a weather-related flight delay, our travel plans were unexpectedly disrupted. The hotel team went the extra mile to help us resolve the issues — their kindness, patience, and willingness to assist us during a stressful time were incredibly touching. We’re deeply grateful for their support and exceptional service.
They even provided an air purifier for the room when requested, as the air here can be quite dusty.
Room Food Service is totally trash!
This was, without exaggeration, the most disappointing Hyatt experience I have ever had. The level of service I encountered was completely unacceptable and far below the standards expected from the Hyatt brand.
To be fair, not everything was negative. The hotel kindly offered us a complimentary room upgrade, and prepared a welcome fruit platter upon arrival. The breakfast buffet was quite good, and we appreciated the umbrella service provided when it was raining.
That said, even here we encountered some confusion: the front desk staff were not aware that my reservation included breakfast. It was only after I pointed it out that they double-checked and confirmed it. This level of unfamiliarity with the booking details was surprising and unprofessional.
However, the core of my complaint lies in the deeply frustrating in-room dining experience and the lack of customer support that followed:
1. I placed a room service order at 7:00 PM during a non-peak hour. After waiting for quite some time, I made multiple phone calls to follow up. I was told by kitchen staff that the food would be delivered in about 20 minutes. In reality, I ended up waiting over an hour. This level of delay—despite multiple reassurances—was absolutely infuriating.
2. The fried noodles were the worst I’ve ever tasted—bland, oily, and almost inedible.
3. Although the meal was clearly for two people, only one pair of chopsticks was delivered. When I asked for another, I was told it would be sent “immediately” by robot. I waited again, but nothing came. Eventually I went downstairs to ask, and was told that they were fully aware the robot was broken—but no one had contacted me, and no one brought the items manually. I was left hungry, waiting in frustration, and had to collect the food myself. From placing the order to finally receiving everything I needed, I spent more than two hours. Worse, the staff showed no apology or concern when I asked about the delay in person.
4. When I returned to my room, I discovered that the vinegar I had requested was in fact soy sauce—an error that summed up the incompetence of the entire experience.
5. To make matters worse, the food was delivered in cheap plastic containers, completely unworthy of an in-room dining service. The pricing for this service is at least 30% higher than local restaurant equivalents, and yet all I got was subpar food, careless service, and pure frustration. I genuinely felt like I paid a premium just to be ignored and mistreated.
If the hotel is incapable of offering proper in-room dining, it should not advertise such services through promotional materials in the guest rooms.
I booked through your website, when I check in . The front desk staff tell me there is no reservation in their computer system. It take one hour to talk with your customer service in China.even this is intranet problem, make me very frustrated.
Very bad experience!
Good location clean property
Breakfast was delicious with lots of variety including bread and noodles. It was nice to have a fitness room as well.
Nice hotel in a good location. Dora Shao, Gallery Manager, went above and beyond her duties to resolve a problem we had with another hotel. She handled the issue with great professionalism. Staff are very helpful & courteous. Clean & comfortable room with a good breakfast buffet.
Nice hotel with good location. Great staffs. Dora Shao, Gallery Manager, went above & beyond her duties to help solved our pro blems.
Clean. Not situated in city centre, but still convenient as there are many restaurants nearby. Very close to airport and train station. So it’s convenient, but at the same time a bit noisy when there are flights takeoff/landing.
Great experience, I’ll definitely stay here again next time
