Artto Hotel Glasgow

I knew for the area, this isn't going to be a super nice hotel, however, this was worst than I expected. Bathroom tile was taped, black mold in the grout, sheets and bedding have several stain marks, everything just feels not very clean. At one point, our front door was locked (locked us in) and unable to open, had to call maintenance people to come fix the lock. The staff was nice and moved us to another room but cannot make up how bad the condition of this hotel...

It's was grand and did the job for location and was clean. No issues

The staff was very helpful and the hotel is very convenient to the train station.

Enjoyed our stay at the Artto. Room was small but adequate,everything was clean,beds comfortable. Only downside was the lift being out of order. Would stay here again as super handy for central station and to get into the city. Recommended. Restaurant next door is good too and very easy to get to from the hotel bar which unlike some is not overpriced.

The property was in a great location for bars restaurants and the trains. They need to fix the elevator.

We had a 3 night stay at Artto -it’s in a fantastic location next to the train station and is in a very walkable neighborhood close to shops and restaurants
Our room was clean and functional-the housekeeping staff was lovely and accommodated my request for additional pillows. I also appreciated the front desk staff who quickly amended a booking error I had made
There is no lift so if you have mobility issues this could be a challenge
Our room was large, as was the bathroom. Fantastic water pressure. It is an older hotel and could use a bit of care
There is an onsite bar and 24 hour concierge
Within a 2 block radius there are countless bars and restaurants as well as shops-we enjoyed our stay and I would book again

Just what i needed

Ok for basic stay for 1 night.

Excellent location - right next to Central Station. Staff were friendly and accommodating. They helpfully moved us rooms as we were originally at the front of the hotel which is opposite a very lively pub and situated on a main road. Moved to the back of the hotel which was much quieter. The room was clean and functional. Good shower!! Overall, highly recommended (unless you want a quiet location)

Comfortable stay in a good location. Downside no food being served. Pleasant stay at an affordable price.

The member of staff that checked me in was quick and very helpful. Good location for most things transport buses cental stn close by. Room good and spacious unless you get a single room.
Everything was ok.

Visited for the AC/DC Concert in Edinburgh,was very close to the Train Station which was Ideal for us going and coming back from Edinburgh on the night the Concert ended,that's we chose to stay here,No complaints about the room or anything...got slightly noisy from the bar's opposite (more so the Wed night when we came back from the walk around Glasgow) but that's part of it,if ya cant cope then this ISN'T the place for you...we didn't mind one bit so we won't give it a bad Review because of it,the Staff we talked to were very friendly and we'd stay here again should we come and visit again at any time (which we plan to) Bed was fine and slept good,Shower was good and the Coffee/Tea/Milk etc etc Room was abit of wear and tear here and there but no,we have no complaint's about our visit here.

Excellent quality for the price

Our stay was wasted by very poor cleanliness within room, whole room could do with a cleanup it. Was very unindated! Mould all round in toilet, the cups for drinks were dirty, next day the same cups were placed and still not cleaned, when enquieries made for clean cups were told they are replaced daily, unfortunately the same cups were still there during our stay, verynoisy by bins being filled at night with empty bottles getting put into bins! Were put in rear of buillding felt out the way, overall not happy with room. Staff were polite and helpfull, unfortunately i wont recommend this hotel.

The young gentleman at reception was excellent, so very helpful. Shame the lifts weren’t working.

Basic does what it says on the tin. Clean and basic. TV is an upgrade from previous stays. Ok for 1 night stay.Lift still out of order. Been like this for over a year?

Needs upkeep eg no outside space as advertised, lift broken, stains and holes in sheets, leak around sink, room smelt stale and musty etc etc. Price not at all justified
