I had an outstanding dining experience at the Hilton Garden Inn State College and would absolutely give it five stars. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and the staff was professional, attentive, and genuinely focused on providing great service.

The food was a highlight of the evening. Huge credit to Nash and Hayden, the cooks, who did an excellent job. The meal was fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. Every dish came out perfectly and exceeded expectations.

Diana, my server, was fantastic. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the meal. She consistently checked in at the right times and made the experience feel personalized. At the bar, Matt also provided great service and brought a welcoming energy that added to the overall positive atmosphere.

It is clear the team works well together, which reflects great leadership from Mitch, the manager. The entire operation felt organized, efficient, and focused on customer satisfaction.

Overall, this was a top tier dining experience. The combination of excellent food, outstanding service, and a welcoming environment made for a perfect evening. I would highly recommend stopping by for a meal if you are in the area. I will definitely be returning.

I couldn’t be happier with the service given to us by Diana! She was on-top of every single thing that we needed. We were also taken well care of by Matt with our drinks. A big shoutout also to the cooks Nash and Hayden for making the salmon incredibly well. I also appreciate having the manager Mitch come up to our table and greet us personally and offer if we needed anything.

Had dinner at Mercato Mio tonight and have to say that it was really great! Food was spectacular. Our waitress was amazing. Wasn't crowded at 8 o'clock on a Saturday. Definitely will go back! Not a lot of italian places I would recommend in the state college area but this one is the best I have had around here for sure!

This location was ideal for me and my purpose, it sits minutes outside of the Penn State campus. Hotel is well kept, restaurant offered choices, gym expectation is very good. But a big shout out to Olivia (Night Mgr) who helped me on locating an item I left in my room. She went over and beyond her responsibilities , a big thank you! I hope you get some sort of recognition.

Located close to attractions! Very clean!

During the most difficult time of our lives, when my husband was in the ICU, my daughter and I stayed here, and the staff showed extraordinary kindness and compassion. They went far beyond normal hospitality offering comfort, thoughtful gestures, prayers, and genuine care that helped us get through each day. We will never forget how supported and cared for we felt. Truly a wonderful team of people. Thank you!

As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by an employee. Super pleasant and the hotel was new and clean! All of the IT thing we needed were there and Julia was super helpful with anything we needed.

We had the meatballs and cannoli and let me tell you...WOW! So good!

Absolutely recommend for meetings and hotel reservations!
