Cons:

We reserved the room with Breakfast buffet but there was a day that we couldn't have breakfast because of our train schedule, so prior to making the reservation we asked the hotel if breakfast takeaway would be possible just for one day. The hotel staff said yes and we thought we would get a good quality breakfast since the breakfast buffet is around 25 pound. When we got the takeaway bag, we were so disappointed because the bag contained one croissant, one apple and a packed juice. We asked if we could get a bit more food since the quality and amount was incomparable to what you actually get from the buffet and the staff at the front desk said no because everything had to be approved by the 'chef'and said we can escalate it to booking.com. It is ridiculous that putting packaged food into a bag requires chef's approval. The lady that handled this was very rude and it ruined our stay. Had this not happened or had she been more cooperative I would have given you 10/10.

Comfy bed with soft pillows. Room spotless and air com worked. Hand-wash, Shower Gel and shampoo lovely, no hair conditioner on this stay. Beautiful decor in bar exception area

Afternoon tea
Pros:

I went to Novotel for afternoon tea with my family as a birthday day present. To start, the decorations in here are beautiful, it is very aesthetic for those who enjoy the decor just as much as the food! You have an option between many kinds of tea and get a selection of sandwiches and cakes, all delicious. Within my experience here, we had a prosecco to begin with, then our food was delivered and then our tea. Our waitress was Jacqueline and she was lovely and made us feel very welcomed. This is a brilliant place to come with friends or family. Generally, it was quiet while we was here, making it very relaxing.
