E' delizioso, il personale gentile ma non vi consiglio di prendere anche la cena.
Pros:

La macchinetta fa vari tipi di caffè.
L'hotel si trova attaccato alla stazione, comoda sia per la DLR che per il treno per London Bridge.
La mia stanza spaziosa, il letto comodissimo, mi fa sempre sorridere che il water sia da solo e il bagno da un'altra parte. L'arredamento della hall è molto caratteristico.
Il personale è gentile.

Cons:

La colazione non è ricchissima. C'era sì una offerta variegata (continentale, anglosassone), però limitata nel numero di elementi. Io che faccio una colazione dolce, ho mangiato le stesse cose per sei giorni di fila: mini croissant vuoto, mini pain au chocolat e mini muffin. C'era anche un dolce con raisin che non mi piace e una torta del giorno abbastanza indecifrabile. Gli yogurt erano messi in vasi (quindi esposti, non ermetici), c'era un barattolo di nutella aperto da cui tutti a turno potevano attingere, usando lo stesso coltello per spalmarla sulla propria fetta di pane. Diciamo che dal punto di vista igienico non è il massimo. Preferirei degli yogurt in barattolino chiuso e delle monoconfezioni di Nutella.

La cena un disastro. Quando ho prenotato, ho pensato di fare una genialata e di risparmiare acquistando notti con colazione e cena. Peccato che sul sito non c'era traccia di menu, perchè tornando indietro non lo rifarei.
Per la cena mi aspettavo un ristorante, invece era una specie di fast food di quelli che si trovano al centro commerciale. Non solo, a mia insaputa, il mio pacchetto prevedeva che per tutte le sei cene io avrei avuto lo stesso menu dal quale attingere scegliendo due portate a sera. Le portate erano del tenore di hamburger, hamburger, chicken curry (piccantissimo), fish and chips, anelli di cipolla fritti, patatine fritte. Ho vissuto nel Regno Unito per tre anni e so bene qual è la VERA cucina britannica e so bene quanto sia buono il cibo quando è cucinato bene e soprattutto che ci siano tante cose buone da mangiare. Nella mia testa, pensavo che in albergo avrei mangiato come in veri pub inglesi, non come al Mac Donald's. Questa quindi è la parte veramente deludente. Ho chiesto di avere la possibilità di scegliere almeno tra il menu generale e non solo tra quello limitato alla prenotazione ma la situazione è cambiata di poco. Non vi consiglio quindi di prendere anche i pasti. A meno che non sia un soggiorno breve.

Pros:

Although it was next to train station, the room was really quite and no noise as our room was on the side of the road. The room included hairdryer, kettle, mini fridge and good Wi-fi. Breakfast was excellent containing both English and Continental Breakfast. Location was perfect next to train station, High road, supermarkets, restaurants & coffee shops and town center.

Cons:

There was a bit too much heat in the room.
