Casa Laguna Hotel & Spa

Our stay at Casa Laguna did not disappoint—in fact, we enjoyed it so much that we decided to stay an extra night.

This is a small, intimate property with a small staff, which makes the experience feel especially personal. You quickly get to know everyone, and they truly do it all, always with a smile and care.

The property itself is beautiful, lush, and tranquil—an adults-only oasis with breathtaking sunset views. We stayed in the Balboa Suite, which featured a balcony with ocean views along with a comfortable seating and dining area, perfect for relaxing at the end of the day.

Breakfast is included with your stay and consists of small bites, but you can order as much as you’d like. It’s more than enough to fuel you up before heading out to explore.

Beach bags and towels are provided, which was very convenient. While it’s a bit of a trek down to Victoria Beach, it’s a quiet and peaceful spot that feels well worth the effort.

A great bonus is the free trolley that stops right in front of the property, making it easy to get around town without needing a car.

Casa Laguna has officially become one of our favorite beach escapes, and we can’t wait to return.

The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly. The bus stop was right out front and easily accessible. Also, the food was delicious! It was like a little oasis at an oasis!

My favourite hotel…a secluded spot that feels like holiday. Amazing staff, gorgeous sea views, comfy bed…love the sauna and pool. Perfect for a romantic getaway or solo rest and recover.

The property was very nice and has a lot of charm.
Built in the 1920s with a full remodel and retains its charm with upgrades. Kent our host was amazing and accommodating, great human!
The food was delicious and staff was very friendly and attentive. The spa is a very nice plus! Over all we rate the hotel 10 out of 10.

The character and history of the property is truly unique and charming.
The entire staff are welcoming,attentive and friendly. Delicious frittatas offered as a breakfast choice along with amazing home made cookies offered to all at the end of the day.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Laguna. The staff there is so friendly and welcoming, making sure you feel taken care of. We enjoyed the couples massage and especially the soak overlooking the ocean at sunset.

My wife and I stayed at Casa Laguna for a week as a romantic getaway and it was the perfect choice for us. We stayed in the Laguna Suite and the charm of the room and hotel felt like a historical Spanish castle with all the right touches of home and luxury. The staff were all friendly, personable and professional from the moment we walked in until checkout. It rained a couple of nights and the room service menu was limited but great for our taste. Spa service was reasonably priced for the area and quality. Location was central between the beaches we wanted to check out (Treasure Island was our favorite and only a short walk), uptown Laguna, and Dana Point. Would recommend if you're thinking about staying in the Laguna area and we're excited for a return trip in the future!

The location was perfect with beautiful views of the Pacific and a quick drive to Laguna Beach and Newport. The hotel is truly a gem... feel like you in the Mediterranean tucked away in a lush tropic paradise. The staff was so nice, helpful and accommodating.. even made me a special breakfast because of food allergies! I highly recommend Casa Laguna and would stay there again for sure!

The staff was amazing
They literally walked us to our room at check in. Breakfast in the garden was light and delicious. The location is outside of the high traffic area in Laguna which is exactly what we wanted. We live locally and just wanted a break from everything and this is a.perfect overnight getaway
