THIS BW is in downtown Waterloo, felt safe in this small city😃 Check-In and Out was easy. Room came off clean or was it🤔 When I got into bed, I was poked by the back of an earring that was under the sheets🤮 So do they change out all the bed sheets🤔 TV is around 36in. with okay channel selection. Parking can be rough, you can park on the streets if you can find a spot😳 it’s free between 5pm - 9am, then you pay or get fined😡 Parking garage across the street at a cost. Breakfast is your normal BW selection. Bathroom is a tight fit, but works. Plenty of hot shower water and good pressure.
Exceptional stay! Every July I attend the National Wrestling Hall of Fame weekend in Waterloo, Iowa and stay at the Best Western. GM Kari and assistant GM Samantha always welcome me with open arms from their front desk staff of Jennifer, Wendy, Lacy, Julie, and Mariah. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable and the morning breakfast that Comika and Christy put out is a great way to start my day. I always have a enjoyable and memorable weekend when staying there. I will most definitely be back next July! Thanks again!

It was in a central location to where I needed to be.
Parking was in a ramp across the street.
We stayed here for a convention and appreciated being allowed to check in early. Unfortunately, our room's AC was not working, making for a very uncomfortable first night. The hotel did provide a fan and moved us to a new room the next day after maintenance confirmed the issue.
The biggest problem was the elevators. They were extremely slow, and one was out of service during a busy convention weekend, forcing many guests to take the stairs just to stay on schedule. This would have been especially difficult for anyone with mobility issues.
We were also disappointed by the service in the restaurant, bar, and breakfast area. Staff made us feel unwelcome, and after a poor interaction with the bartender, our party of six chose to skip dinner there and eat sandwiches in our room instead.
The front desk and maintenance staff were helpful, but overall the hotel needs to improve its elevators, maintenance, and customer service before we would consider staying again.

Best Western cancelled my reservation overnight. When I got there I had to wait five minutes for front staff to show up. And I showed up around 8pm. They didn’t have my reservation and the location and quality was worse than in the pictures.

Breakfast had a nice variety…not just carbs
A staff member entered the pool area (close to closing time) and seemed to purposefully stare at us to get us to leave. It made us uncomfortable. It wasn’t in line with the awesome experience we always have with staff at this hotel.
