Residency policy not customer friendly and not very business friendly or financially sound model
Its okay, but definitely not what the pictures show.
When I arrived it was before noon. The parking lot was completely empty. I explained I needed to go on a zoom meeting, if I could please check in. They absolutely refused. I visit Santa Cruz often because my daughter goes to UCSC and have stayed at several motels and have never had this issue.
I think I was the only one staying that night. The parking lot remained empty the whole time.
The beds were clean and semi comfortable but the lamps are rusty, light switches were dirty. Desk was pretty beat up.

I always stay here, it is perfectly located between downtown and the boardwalk. Parking is usually great as well, which is hard to find in SC.
Needs more lighting and Its a little run down, but on point for the price. A little paint in the rooms and overhead lighting would go a long way.

Lattia oli hiekkainen eli sitä ei oltu laskaistu. Näköalaa ei ollut paitsi takapihalle parkkipaikalle. Paikka oli myös aika pimeä. Ts huone ja koko paikka ei ollut viihtyisä. Ei ole kiirettä tuolla hinnalla tulla enää uudestaan. Onneksi olimme vain yhden yön.

The location is great, the beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. The woman that checked us in very nice. it was a great price for a two night stay.
The refrigerator in our room was broken. I notified the staff within 10 minutes of checking in. We were unable to change room as there were no rooms available. She sent the manager over to check the refrigerator. He tried to tell me it was cold. When the temperature of the room is colder than the temperature of the inside of the refrigerator, there’s a problem. He told me he would send someone to look at it at 8:30 in the morning. We waited no one came. We were not going to lose our day waiting for someone that was not coming to fix the refrigerator. So we came back that evening and opened the refrigerator again ….room is colder than the refrigerator and you could feel the blast of heat that came out when you opened the door let’s just say the smell wasn’t pleasant.
