The parking was terrible
The room was clean and I appreciated the Keurig coffee maker.
The hotel is on a busy road with traffic noise. Soon after going to my room, I started to hear screaming outside, I went outside to investigate and found a homeless person passed out at the foot of the stairs on the hotel property. There was the smell of urine around the outside of the hotel. I did not feel safe. Manager kindly adjusted my booking and I checked out after one night. Motel is also divided on two sides of a busy road. Hot tub and pool on opposite sides.
Location
Very uncomfortable blankets & small room, tv was in a weird spot, generally bad lighting, & can’t open windows.
My room was clean, comfortable, and pet-friendly for an extra fee, though its location at the front of the building meant enduring significant highway traffic noise. The property layout was a bit scattered, featuring a jacuzzi near the back but placing the swimming pool directly across the street. Conveniently, that same street hosted a Chinese restaurant, and the nearby boardwalk was just a pleasant 20-minute walk away.
Paying premium peak-season rates was incredibly frustrating given the hotel's loud highway traffic and disjointed, inconvenient layout. It made little sense to have the jacuzzi tucked away at the back of the property while forcing guests to cross a busy street just to use the swimming pool. For high-season prices, the stay should have offered a much more seamless, relaxing, and quiet experience.
Clean, quiet & good location to get around town
Pool across the street and hot tub across the other street
Close to Capitola and Boardwalk.
I didn’t like walking all around building in the back, felt a little isolated.
It was comfortable clean and staff was welcoming and friendly
Parking Hazard. Not safe Parking should have a limit for safety.
Parking
The staff was friendly. They had a hot tub near our room. It is pet friendly.
Room smelt like bleach. Bed and pillows were too firm, unable to sleep. Sink had no plug and was plugged up.
Clean & close to Santa Cruz Boardwalk
No room service had to run across street to get clean towels and coffee .swimming pool was clean.
