Wonderful weekend!
Pros:

We had a fantastic stay. We were there for our wedding weekend and the staff were so thoughtful! We also loved that it was dog friendly! We had a great view, everything was nice and clean. It was easy to get to our wedding venues from the hotel, and we would definitely stay there again!

Cons:

Not that we could change this, but there were screaming children next door, with the adjoining room door, the screams at 6:30am sounded like they were in the room. Otherwise, perfect stay.

Relaxed city stay by the waterfront
Pros:

I love the vacation feel of this 'city' hotel. Everyone relaxing at the outdoor pool and views of the waterfront. It's a great base for Stanley Park or downtown. A safe, pleasant area.

I wouldn't stay again
Pros:

Nothing particularly. Price very high. Room dull aspect had no good view. 3rd floor.

Cons:

Penny pinching hotel. For £300/night no milk provided on room for tea. Told to purchase from the kiosk - totally unacceptable. Bathroom had no separate shower - had to climb into bath tub. Room and bathroom looked rather tired.

Went down to swim at 7.20 am only to find it was closed for yoga. Si pool not available when we wanted it.

Staff on the reception on day of arrival 6 May most unhelpful when asked for milk. It was like I was asking for something extraordinary.

Perfect Location & Friendly Helpful Staff
Pros:

The Hotel is in the perfect location overlooking Coal Harbour & close to Stanley Park. The H2 Kitchen & Bar serves good quality food for both breakfast & dinner. Lastly all of the staff that we met were friendly & helpful.

Relaxing, picturesque stay
Pros:

Ours was a stay that perfectly balanced wellness with a front-row seat to Vancouver’s natural beauty. Westin Bayshore is a gem.
The property sits right on the Coal Harbour Seawall, which is arguably the best "backyard" a hotel could have. Being able to step out the doors and immediately be on a path toward Stanley Park for a morning nature walk was the highlight of the stay. The views of the harbor and the mountains are restorative, making it easy to maintain a healthy, active routine even while traveling.
The only glitch was that we weren’t allowed to use the pool after our checkout on the same day even though I’m an elite Marriott member and used to late checkout.
The "wellness" focus of the Westin brand is very much alive here.
• H Tasting Lounge: A must-visit for a sophisticated evening. The atmosphere is vibrant yet relaxing—perfect for winding down after a day of exploring.
• H2 Kitchen & Bar: Great for a reliable, high-quality meal with plenty of options that don't feel like "heavy" hotel food.
• T & Co Café: Excellent for a quick, high-protein grab-and-go before heading out for the day.
We used a property credit to explore the dining onsite.
The hotel serves as an ideal base for local excursions. We spent a day on a whale-watching tour, and the convenience of returning to such a tranquil room made the adventure even better.
The Westin Bayshore is more than just a place to sleep; it’s a retreat. Whether you’re here for the fitness amenities, or simply the proximity to the water, it delivers a high-end, refreshing experience. I would return in a heartbeat for that Seawall access alone.

Right in the city, but so close to nature.
Pros:

A lovely hotel that bridges the city and nature. Right next to Stanley park, the hotel is about a KM and a half to the closest metro stop, but the locution is still good. It's fun to watch the float planes come and go.
Our room was on the corner and had a great view of the pool and a great balcony for quiet morning coffees.
Bedding was nice and comfy.
Nice restaurant and lovely little coffee shop on site too.
Marriot branded hotels have the best coffee makers!

Overall a very good stay in an excellent location; staff were great; noise was a slight issue.
Pros:

Good points:
The location is great: close to Stanley Park and next to the marina. Our room had a partial view of the marina (although the main view was of the rest of the hotel and the area surrounding the pool, which could have been clearer in the room description).
Staff were professional, helpful, and friendly.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
The pool was a plus point.

Cons:

Could have been better:
The main thing a hotel needs to offer is a good night’s sleep. The rooms that face into the courtyard all suffer from noise from a very large HVAC unit that ran through the night. To have a large noisy system in the middle of the space that most of the rooms share seems to be extremely poor planning. Also, at 8:00am the grounds crew wandered around the pool area using a leaf blower. Although it was electric, the construction of the building meant the sound echoed around the space. Was it really necessary to do that kind of work at a time when some guests might still be sleeping?
Although it was nice to have the option of making coffee in the room, for what we were paying we would have expected sometime better than coffee sachets, paper cups and faux creamer.

Great hotel, better service!
Pros:

This is a beautiful hotel with amazing views to the harbor and the mountains. We arrived to check in on Friday 4/24 at around 9:30 am after we disembarked our cruise ship; we checked in expecting that we were just going to store our luggage and come back later to receive our room keys but the front desk clerk went out of his way to find us an available room and he did! (I now regret not asking for his name). He was super friendly, super helpful and informative and we were able to go to our room immediately, talk about hospitality! I think this has been the best and most pleasant experience we’ve ever had checking in to a hotel!
The room was large with great views and the bed was super comfortable.
The hotel is located in a prime location easy to walk or bike to landmarks or quick uber or taxi ride if you’re not into walking.
We are definitely staying here again when we come back to Vancouver.
