Hotel Golf Beach

Just returned from 10 days holidaying at Hotel Golf Beach for the 13th time.
Cannot praise staff enough, basic but a friendlier hotel would be hard to find.
Rooms basic but comfortable, food basic but acceptable, pool basic but acceptable.
Ineis, Richaarrd, Malike, Marc and all cleaning staff always a smiling greeting whilst doing their jobs.
Perfectly situated for all amenities. Hotel Golf Beach perfect for us, why go anywhere else.
Already planning next year's visit.

Just returned from Hotel Golf Beach.
Location: The location is perfect, close to bust station, shops and restaurants and about 10 minutes walk to the beach. The hotel is really clean and the staff are very friendly.
Food: There is a bar and you can get a freshly cooked to order breakfast and they make the best coffee, The chef is the best.
No home comforts: This is a basic 2 star property which suits a no fuss no frills cheap break away. so take your own beach towels, travel kettle if you like a coffee in your room. To hire a fridge is extra around 40 euros a week. there is no air con in the rooms so they get really hot and its difficult to sleep. they provide you with a fan but it just moves the warm around so if going in August hire a portable air conditioner (extra charge).
Pool: pool area looks lovely and is cleaned daily, but we didn't use it as the beach is so nice.
All in all, a really good stay. it's the staff that make this place great, they really are the best. A good choice for a mini break, great location and affordable.

A great base for visiting Santa Ponsa. Rooms are basic (no air con) but they're amongst the cheapest in the area. 3 min walk to the beach, 2 min walk to all the local shops / restaurants. A bar downstairs that serves food, open till late. We will return.

Me and my family stayed at the golf beach, Santa Ponsa. What can I say, simply amazing. Excellent value for money, the staff go above and nothing was too much trouble for them! Big shout out to Ines, Mazik and Juan who made our stay really special! The rooms are spacious, comfortable and have lovely big balcony’s, fans are also provided free of charge. We will 100% be visiting again. If you need a sign to book Golf beach hotel, this is it- you won’t be disappointed! Thank you for a great holiday and we will be seeing you very soon ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Although the Hotel Golf Beach is only 2 Stars it's one of the best I have stayed in. Absolutely spotless, beds are comfortable and made every day, rooms cleaned daily reception, dining room ,pool and grounds also. Food and drink is good and reasonably priced. Staff second to none couldn't do enough for you so very welcoming spoke with you and laughed with you too. The hotel plans on upgrading for a 3 star as at the moment not all rooms have air conditioning though there is a large ceiling fan and two small fans. They also plan on introducing a buffet style food . Ines, Maleke, John and Miguel very best wishes for your future. I would certainly recommend this Hotel.

Small family hotel,great location,we were room only but hired a fridge for the week €40,no air con but can be hired as well ,decent food and drinks available at a reasonable price,very clean hotel and rooms immaculate,pool area quiet with a good sized pool,wonderful staff couldn’t fault them very pleasant apart from the night porter when we came in late one night he gave us a ticking for laughing and giggling,think he’s got previous for this 😂,will return hopefully very soon

My wife and I have stayed at the Golf Beach many times over the past 20 years. It now has new owners but they have kept all of the wonderful staff that makes your stay welcoming and pleasant. Some new decoration within the bar area and a new menu. The bar area at night is quite quiet this maybe the increase in drinks prices and not so many British guests as before.
Still if you are looking for a pleasant stay in Santa Ponsa for a reasonable price look no further

Just returned from yet another fabulous holiday at Golf Beach.
Highlight of holiday is the staff, so friendly the welcome they gave us was more like old friends meeting up. Which after 12/13 visits is about right. SP great holiday destination and can't think of better hotel to stay.
Under new management now (sad not to see Francisco) but change seems to be seamless. Best recommendation! 2025 already planned.

The staff at this family run hotel were absolutely amazing.
The hotel is spotless clean and nothing was to much trouble for them when we asked for their help.
We would return again knowing that everything would be excellent in service.

There's no AC

Absolutely gem of a hotel .nice rooms .air con unit delivered as unit if needed .staff so nice nothing too much.pool quite plenty beds with shade.food delicious .all in all back again next year .middle of everything but quite ..10 stars .cant wait go again

We didn't stay at this hotel but discovered it last year when we went in for snacks at lunchtime and it's still as good as we remembered it. The most friendly staff and owners you could wish to meet and the food and drink is excellent and very reasonably priced. It has a lovely clean bar and terrace area. Highly recommend it for drinks and meals but reviews suggest it is a great place to stay as well.

Lovely quiet poolside and clean rooms

We stayed at this lovely hotel for a 4 night break, rooms were basic, beds were comfortable and you were provided with 2 fans, we hired a fridge and it was booked and delivered in no time.

Could always find a sun bed at the pool.

Choice of breakfasts which were lovely and all the staff could not do enough for you.

We will definitely be back.

What a brilliant little find!

Staff are all so lovely ( yes, even the night manager!), nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are a decent size and fans are provided, beds are huge and very comfy. The pool area is an absolute sun trap so get your tanning done there 🥰

The food is decent and very reasonably priced, and you’re a 2 minute walk from the beach. There’s a little supermarket next door open early till late.

What a little hidden gem! Would definitely come back!

We booked this last minute for the bank holiday weekend has the price was so cheap. And wow how this is only a 2 star, I’ll never know. It’s worth another star. Iv stayed all over the world and some 5 stars have been poor compared to this hotel. Staff are amazing. They go all out to make you feel welcome. Make sure you have everything you need. It’s so clean. Even a leaf was removed from the pool floor. And the smell is so fresh. Food is lovely drinks are good prices. I can’t fault this hotel at all. Highly recommended. Only one thing is there is no aircon. But you are provided with fans

Yet another review of Golf Beach.
1st class visit once more to this Hotel. If you are looking for reasonable price hotel this is it. Whatever this hotel lacks it is made up for by staff, nothing to much trouble.
myself my wife and friends have stayed at Golf Beach roughly 12/13 times. Never disappointed
