Hotel Riu Palace Nautilus - Adults Only

Świetny hotel, lokalizacja przy samej plazy, nowoczesne i czyste pokoje, pyszne jedzenie, basen zadbany.

My Sister and I travelled to the Riu Nautilus to escape the British winter and have a restful weeks holiday and that is certainly what we got. The hotel was immaculate, food was excellent, position of room was as requested and all staff were amazing. What more could you ask for!

So we arrived on the morning it opened after refurbishment. We had no water for a few hours on the Friday but the issue was quickly resolved. The hotel is lovely, really nice but it is made better by the staff, they are wonderful. The only negative experience we had was in Krystal's where we were forgotten and left before our dessert's were served but I would not use this to downgrade our experience, it was 5*.

This was our 3rd visit to this hotel all in the last 2 years. Having realised that our recent stay started on the day the hotel reopened after the refurbishment, we were a little worried, but we needn't have been. Yes, there were a few teething problems whilst we were there, but these were promptly dealt with.
Positives....lovely welcoming foyer area and much better lifts (although we did get stuck in one!).
Far better layout in the restaurant with more space. Will be interesting to see how it all works when the hotel is full though.
Food at breakfast and dinner was well presented, plentiful and varied.
Much improved ramp down to the promenade.
Lovely new sun terrace with new sunbeds - watch out for those selfish folks who leave towels out at silly o'clock then arrive mid afternoon - the stated 'no reserving subeds' rule needs policing or it will be ignored.
Great staff in every area of the hotel that can't do enough for you.

Things for the hotel to consider...(relatively minor issues in our view)... the new room layout, with a drawer unit topped with an enormous TV in the middle of the room, is bizarre and leaves the floor space very cramped. Consider putting the drawers inside the large wardrobe and put the TV on the wall opposite the bed.
Get more English TV channels eg BBC1, ITV1.
At breakfast, have made to order omelettes available with various fillings (cheese, onion, peppers, mushrooms, ham) and put more oats in the porridge so it's thicker.
Consider having the beach gate powered to open and close automatically to allow for easier wheelchair/disabled access and remove the step that leads from the ramp to the promenade surface.
Put proper teaspoons in the bedrooms not just wooden stirrers.
Only allow smoking in one area of the outdoor bar area and not at all on balconies, round the pool or sun terrace.
Install plumbed filtered water dispensers on landings to reduce plastic bottle waste and improve the hotel's sustainability. Note the room signage says the water in rooms is not drinkable.

Note that the RIU website says that the room minibar is FREE, it isn't! Plus, the advertised room air conditioning is not available in March it appears no matter how hot it gets.

So, would we go back? We've already booked for May and are considering a November break as well, which says it all.

El personal muy atento y amable en todo momento. El hotel estaba todo reformado. El boufete con mucha variedad y calidad tanto en el desayuno como la cena.

The hotel has been totally refurbished and this was the first day they opened. Naturally there were a few gremlins to deal with. Beautiful decor and quality of fittings. First class musical duo at night

Hotel in einer top Lage, direkt an der kilometerlangen wunderschönen Strandpromenade, in eine Richtung konnte man
bis Torremolinos laufen, in die andere Richtung bis Benalmadena und noch weiter. Der tolle Yachthafen sowie das urige
Fischerviertel in unmittelbarer Nähe, Restaurants, Cafes un d Geschäfte ohne Ende.Die Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel ist sehr gut.Ein Erwachsenenhotel der RIU- Gruppe, das sehr gut geführt wird, Angefangen von der herzlichen
Begrüßung mit einem Glas Sekt an der Rezeption, weiter über serviceorientierte Kellner und Kellnerinnen bis hin zum freundlichen Reinigungspersonal. Obwohl die Ausstattung unseres Doppelzimmers mit direktem Meerblick schon ganz
schön in die Jahre gekommen war, war es unheimlich sauber, Ein tolles Bad mit ebenerdiger großer Dusche, Überhaupt war
das Hotel in allen Bereichen sehr sauber, immerzu wurde irgendwo geputzt und gewischt, Die Buffets zum Frühstück und
Abendessen waren sehr gut und schmackhaft.Poolbereich und Gesamtanlage sehr gepflegt. Das leidige Problem mit der
frühen , fast schon im Morgengrauen beginnenden Belegung mit Handtüchern,scheint auch dieses Hotel leider nicht in den
Griff zu bekommen, Es ist ein Hotel, was wir uneingeschränkt empfehlen können, Das ist natürlich unsere subjektive Einschätzung, ein Haar in der Suppe kann man überall finden. Das Hotel wird nun von November bis März 2026
renoviert und wird dann in neuem und modernen Ambiente erstrahlen, Wird aber preislich doch einen Zacken teurer, leider,

Personeel is bijzonder vriendelijk! Groot compliment voor Javier en Isa. Ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid en lekker. Het hotel werd goed schoongehouden. Kamer zijn ietwat gedateerd maar niets was defect of vuil. Echt een aanrader dit hotel!
