Great place close to the beach and main attractions.

Terrible service, large parties, actually waiting for a refund as we didin't stay

Juan was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He helped us organize an ATV tour which was an excellent experience.

Pro- close to main beach. Walking distance to food etc. Staff is helpful.
Con - noisy at night due to Party music from neighbors. Basic room amenities ( e.g. shampoo has no froth, TV is awkwardly kept in the corner shelf). Still under renovation and there were not many guests

Overall it felt very pricey for the value, I do understand that Costa Rica is expensive overall

The photos on the website are a complete lie. The restaurant doesn’t exist and neither does the bar. There is no concierge. There’s not even a sign that says the hotel is here. The maids touched and moved personal items. Overall not the place I expected to stay at.

Good location, friendly staff and good price. We paid extra for breakfast as the reviews said it was good but the cook was never there to make the breakfast. We asked about it and they just gave us other recommendations and locations. We also got charged to attend a "pool party" while checking in that was an unorganized bikini contest. They were also remodeling the reception area and had you walking through the work area the first day and then opened the side to walk through the days after. I would stay here again if I wanted to be in the middle of everything and didn't want to spend much but don't expect too much. You get what you pay for... Except breakfast we paid for that and didn't get it

When this place was Poseidon it was one of the coolest little boutique hotels with some of the best food. Now they don't know what they are doing. I understand they are remodeling but there are ways to do so while still keeping the restaurant open. Downstairs was totally shut down and upstairs was just a jumbled mess of tables. No coffee out early in the morning? How hard is it to make some coffee and have it out for the guests? The front desk guy was very disinterested until the day I checked out and suddenly he is nice? Please....this was my 4th time in Jaco and I'll be back again but won't be staying here anymore.

This property was very pleasing. At first, I wasn’t sure what to expect based on other reviews and being familiar with Jacó. I was in room 13. My king sized bed was comfortable, the AC worked very well and I had no issues with adequate hot water when taking a shower. The place next doors gets loud during the night but after 2:00am or so, the noise goes away. That didn’t bother me since my goal in Jacó is party at night, rest into the day, go to the beach and then repeat. I would stay again.

Very friendly staff. Excellent pool, enjoyed using it. Slow season, so rooms have not been used frequently. A nice touch would be for housekeeping to drag a scented mop a few times over the floor so the room smells fresh when guests arrive.

Loved the atmosphere and was very feasible to walk around the area. Definitely will stay again

Staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. Location was ideal, near the beach and also the main strip.

WE BOOKED A LATE STAY FOR THE NIGHT AND HOTELS.COM SAID 3 ROOMS AVAILABLE AND WHEN WE GOT TO HOTEL AT 11PM THEY WERE COMPLETELY FULL!! tHE OWNER DID GET US INTO ANOTHER HOTEL, BUT i AM STILL WAITING FOR REFUND FROM HOTEL.COM. dUE TO BEING OUT OF THE COUNTRY AND FINDING HOTEL WAS HECTIC I WAS NOT ABLE TO CANCEL ONLINE WHEN ALL THIS CHECKING IN HASSLE OCCURED.

Great stay for me. Great rate for being right near beach and in a central location in town. Wish I could have stayed longer. I didn't get to try restaurant, but it looked great and everyone said food was amazing. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The WiFi didn't work in my room, but who wants to sit in their room on vacation anyway.

I really enjoyed several points about this property. 1. When I first arrived I was greeted by the lovely manager, Ms. Vinyela Ramos who made me feel welcomed.. 2. The property was clean with great air conditioning and a great shower with hot water 3. Great onsite restaurant. 4.The location was very accessable to many shops and close to the beach. I shall return my next trip to Jaco..

The parking is in the back of the building. 15 per stay. They bring you the car when you leave. Internet was good. Free breakfast was not very good. You need to pay for a good serving of protein.

Nice hotel and the restaurant has good food. The only downside is the noise. You can hear people walking outside or talking rather easily or music. Music doesn’t stop until 3-4 in the morning. It is Jaco and people come to party, so keep that in mind. It’s real close to the beach and to the main road.

If you enjoy your stuff getting stolen from your room then is the place for you. My daughter had jewelry stolen here on this trip. And when they say breakfast starts at 7am they mean they will start cooking your food when ever they get around to it. The only ones ordering at 7am and the cook does not even turn the stove on till 720am or so. We had an early tour and told them this and still no cooking he food like they should have. The waitress was to busy flirting to even take my kids drink order. Last time we stay here.

Staff is excellent and location is great and food is good.

We checked in early, around 1300, and we were so hot in our room even after 2 hrs with the ac on we tried to check out, but we were told we could not get a refund so we were forced to stay. there was no glass in the window in the bathroom so to keep the heat and really loud music at bay we had to keep the bathroom door closed the whole time we were there. Very unhappy with the accommodations. Bed was hard as a rock. Ac didnt cool the room at all. Overall unpleasant. The dinner in the restaurant was very good however and the guy who ran the restaurant was awesome!
