Не понравилось то, что на фотографии номер выглядит гораздо лучше, чем в реальности
Мини бар не работал, свет ночью мигал в ванной, уборка была ужасная, даже не пылесосили
Оплатил на 14 дней, прожили там 5 и переехали в другой отель, попросил вернуть деньги за те дни, которые я не использовал

Был отказ

Считаю, что цена и качество не соответствует

Das Hotel wusste, dass in einigen Zimmern die Heizung nicht funktioniert. Trotzdem hat man uns solch ein Zimmer gegeben und nicht gesagt, dass die Heizung nicht funktioniert. So mussten wir in Mäntel mit 2 Decken im Bett schlafen. Miserable Verhalten

Cons:

The hotel is well located, however the overall service — particularly at the reception — was far below the standard expected of a five-star hotel, and especially below the level normally associated with Marriott properties.

The check-in process took an unreasonably long time and was handled very slowly. The reception staff appeared inexperienced and poorly coordinated. Even when the hotel was not busy, there were always guests waiting to be assisted, which created unnecessary frustration.

More concerning was a serious issue regarding payment security. A payment was charged to our credit card that we could not identify or authorize. This is an extremely sensitive and alarming matter. We immediately reported this to the hotel and requested an investigation. We were assured that the issue would be looked into and that we would be informed.

However, no follow-up was provided, no explanation was given, and no action seemed to have been taken — even after we followed up again in person. The lack of urgency and seriousness shown by the staff regarding a potential unauthorized credit card transaction was very worrying and highly unprofessional.

Given the service level, slow handling of guests, and especially the way this serious financial issue was treated, I cannot recommend this hotel. This experience does not reflect the quality, professionalism, or security standards one expects from a five-star Marriott hotel.

A most comfortable hotel
Pros:

The JW Marriott is located near the 500-acre Tiergarten. Philharmonie and Postdamer Platz are at short walking distance. JW Marriott Berlin opened in January 2023 and offers 505 rooms over 6 floors, 8 food & beverage venues, JW Steakhouse, meeting rooms and an event hall. The spa has a swimming pool, sauna & steam bath. There are 2 fitness centers. Furnishings and decoration provide a quiet, top-quality atmosphere. Service is impeccable. The club level room was cold and we were opgraded to a junior suite. A living room with desk & chair, bench, club-chair & coffee-table, TV, and table & 4 chairs, tea & espresso facility, fridge & mineral water. In the entry wardrobes with safe and ironing facility. A separate bedroom with desk & table, and an excellent kingsize bed. The windows can open. We had a nice bathroom with double washbasin, bath, shower, bidet & toilet. All was impeccably clean. There is an excellent buffet breakfast: eggs made to order, a choice of cold cuts & cheeses, breads & toast, cereals & fruits, milk & yoghurts, juices & preserves, rolls & croissants, sparkling wine, tea & coffee. The club-lounge between 17:30 and 20:00 serves finger-food and drinks. The finger-food was less good as 3 months ago. JW Marriott Berlin is a most comfortable hotel. Highly recommended.
