Cons:

The location is not so good there is a lot of homeless and their campsite next to the parking lot of this location. The breakfast was a bit disappointing I usually like booking a room for the free breakfast for my family.

This will be my go to motel in this area
Pros:

I loved it. My children and I loved it compared to other motels in this area and we tried quite a few of them.
I've booked in this motel more than once, and I'll continue to book here especially since it's right next to the highway and shares parking lot with Dennys and Starbucks. Chevron Gas station/ Extra mile store across the street. Very clean. Continental breakfast, and if you dont like the breakfast, there's a good taco shop on the other side of the freeway, Garcia's tacos shop, which also ahs a nothe gas station across from it. This place has a nice separate jacuzzi room. The pool is always clean. The area is clean. They have washer and dryers, and an Ice machine in the same room. I loved that it had the ice machine my family love ice and we had our coolers with us for the road so it was nice to have free ice for my coolers. The cleaning ladies are nice and very helpful. Attentive to anything you mightnneed for your room if you happen to book for than one day. I love it for the price. The location and its surroundings. You can find a walmart neighborhood store within 5 mins away. And much more.

Cons:

I dont have anything bad to say about this place.

The staff was nice and respectful and friendly. Very clean motel, and the pool was clean as well. The housekeeping ladies were very friendly as well and very helpful with a smile on their faces. I would come back with my children. My kids enjoyed it and at a very young age they could tell the big difference from the previous motel we stayed before this one and they loved this one much more and rested very well. I can definitely say from a person who's used to a non spring foam mattress non shaky, these beds were actually not that bad, I actually rested well compared to the previous motel, the beds were horrible and every small move would shake the whole entire bed and woul wake the others. We could alsp tell the big difference in the cleanliness of the pool. Well done Days Inn on mollison ave. El cajon. Great job and staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. God bless all of the employers there.
And for the price (I used the app Booking, which gave me discounts) it was fai enough. It does include a continental breakfast, has a washer and dryer room with the ice machine for those who like me love ice, or for any emergency you need ice for swelling or even a migraine, or if you simply want a cold refreshed drink.and u have the drink but need the ice, you have access to that ice machine. I have two coolers and I was able to fill them up everyday (that's a plus, because u dont have to run to the store to get ice)
The jacuzzi, my kids loved, especially because it has it own separate room right next to the pool. Overall a great experience, I would definitely come back if I needed an affordable motel in el Cajon area with gas stations near by and good tacoshop nearby and not to mentoon a Dennys and Starbucks and right at the exit and entrance to the I-8 highway. Near everything. Few mins away from sevral fast food places just jump into you maps and you'll see what's near by.

Cons:

The only con would be that I did see some drug users near by and for a mom of 5 little ones is a major concern but is not like they get close to you or try to approach you. If you mind your own business and let them be, they won't do or say anything they're just probably just passing by. They were not staying in the motel, but since it's open to the parking lot that is shared with a Dennys and a Starbucks well anybody can pass by. It's not a secured gated motel, so basically anybody from the street can pass by your window if they wanted to. But I did NOT see nothing like that happen. This is just for those other Mothers out there wondering if it's a safe place to take their precious kids. I say I would definitely come back with my children, because during my stay, everything went smooth and calm and it was during easter weekend.
