Pros:

The hotelmis located a short walk away from the East gate of the fortress. It is a calm and private space. The interior garden is just the right size and full of shade. The rooms are cool and comfy with beautiful kilims to step on. The hotel has its own minaret that you can climb. It is difficult to imagine a better experience in Khiva.

Magnificent prime location, steps away from the Itchan Kala gate!
Pros:

The property has a prime location just steps away from the gate of Itchan Kala (inner gate of the old city). It was fascinating to stay at a madrasah. The location has a minaret that you can explore at sunrise or sunset. It is very special to climb the steps where normally only the muezzin can climb the stairs. The lady at the reception is a sweetheart, she was very kind, helpful and attentive. We had a very early flight before breakfast schedule and she kindly made a breakfast box for each of us.

Cons:

Perhaps the pillows and the mattress can ve upgraded.
We found them to be a bit hard. We stayed 2 nights and having a comfy, soft of therapeutic pillow would have helped.
We stayed in a family room (spacious room) and we doing the unit of air conditioner was not enough to cool the whole room specially since we visited in June.

Hotel Polvon Qori 是這次希瓦之旅最難忘的住宿之一。
這間酒店由古老的伊斯蘭宗教學校（Madrasah）改建而成，保留了精美的拱門、雕刻與中庭，充滿歷史氛圍，住起來就像住在古蹟裡。
環境安靜舒適，庭院綠意盎然，位置極佳，步行約2分鐘就能到希瓦古城主要景點。
唯一小缺點是浴室淋浴水壓較小，偶爾還有排水管的味道。如果能改善就完美了。
整體非常推薦喜歡特色歷史建築的旅客入住！

Hotel Polvon Qori was one of the highlights of our trip to Khiva.
Housed in a beautifully restored historic madrasah, it feels like stepping back in time. The elegant arches, intricate carvings, and peaceful courtyard are full of character and charm.
The location is perfect that just a 2-minute walk to the main sights in the Old City ，and the place is wonderfully quiet. The green courtyard is a great spot to relax after exploring.
The only downside was the bathroom: low shower pressure and occasional drain smells. Hopefully they’ll fix that soon.
Overall, I highly recommend it for anyone seeking an authentic and memorable stay in Khiva.

Pleasant, unusual stay: could do with maintaining facilities.
Pros:

A pretty unique experience, staying in an atmospheric 19th Century madrassa. Room was comfy. You can climb their minaret, 24/7.

Cons:

The shower often didn’t work - all pressure just disappeared and it became a dribble. Staff very money-orientated (“slightly late check out? How much will you give us?”). It’s outside the Walled City, and even Yandex drivers didn’t seem able to find it!

Great location, amazing historical property, delicious breakfast and comfy beds.
Pros:

Wonderful experience in Khiva at the Madrasah for three nights. Really good location a few steps from the East gate of old town. You feel immersed in the history of the place. The staff is exceptionally helpful. The breakfast was my favorite of all places. delicious home cooked breakfast. The rooms stay cool with good AC and…. at 102 outside, we were very comfortable and this is really important if you travel in June or later … the heat is real there. I enjoyed seating outside in the main courtyard and take it all in…. A place to go for sure

A truly unforgettable stay in Khiva

Staying at a XIX century Madrasah was one of the highlights of my visit to Khiva. This beautiful 19th-century hotel transports you to another era, allowing you to experience the charm, history, and atmosphere of old Central Asia in a very authentic way..
The location is excellent, just a short walk from the ancient walled city, making it easy to explore the historic heart of Khiva while enjoying a peaceful and unique setting.
What made the experience even more special was the warmth and kindness of the owners and staff. They were genuinely welcoming, attentive, and always willing to help, making me feel more like a guest in their home than a customer in a hotel.
If you are looking for more than just a place to sleep and want to immerse yourself in the history and spirit of Khiva, I highly recommend Una Madraza. A unique, charming, and memorable experience that I will always treasure. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Parfait pour une étape à Khiva

Pros:

The madrasa-turned hotel is exceptional, especially with its very own minaret. The staff was also very nice and caring, as it helped us to call the ambulance when my girlfriend injured her leg.

Cons:

The room is a little smaller then expected and there were small ants inside.

Amazing staff, beautiful rooms with central garden area and relaxing divans. It has its own minaret & wall walk.
Great location - straight 10 minute walk from the station and less than 5 minutes from the East Gate of the old city.
