Motel 6 - Aberdeen, WA

I didn't like the lady in the morning that came around to make sure we were checking out we had almost everything loaded up in the car and my daughter was doing one last look to make sure that we didn't forget anything and the lady was rude as hell to her. I also don't like that it's been over a week since we stayed there and we still haven't got our deposit back on our card which doesn't make any sense to me

I was told in the evening and that was not passed on to day shift.
I was lied to. They made me move because they said the handicapped rooms were, yet no one stayed in either room. So they moved me from a $70 room to a $135 room just to make more money. I reserved a handicapped room. The only thing handicapped was the parking spot. The bed was so tall I couldn't get up on it. No way to take a shower, can't step into a tub. So apparently they think handicapped is very much different than disabled. There is no difference on the web site. I will tell everyone I know to never stay ther.

Everything! We checked in seen the room and asked for a refund and left and went to a different hotel it was so bad and horrible!

No coffee pot in rooms, no streaming services, and spa like bathroom is a inaccurate description. No jacuzzi tub.

The bathroom was dirty. Everything was rusty, the room had a very bad smell and the AC didn’t work really well

Pets are not free. When I told them that it says pets stay free for motel 6 and advertised online, they replied only for service dogs. It was the only motel 6 I stayed that charged extra for my dog. It was not very clean. The microwave was rusty, that I didn’t want to use it. Room was dark. Probably to hide how unclean it was under the bed. Room smelled. A/C wasn’t cold.

I made a reservation, and when I arrived at the hotel, the manager wanted to charge $25 for each of my two dogs. I asked if the Motel 6 policy had changed, and he indicated that it had changed, but that he would only charge me $25 for one dog. I am a frequent Motel 6 guest because I do travel with my dogs, and this is the first time I have been asked to pay extra for the dogs. I canceled my reservation and found another motel for the night. I found the official policy on my phone after I left, and according to the Motel 6 website, the policy has not changed. It still indicates that well-behaved pets stay free, and my dogs are indeed well-behaved. I was disappointed, and I will also be reaching out to Motel 6 directly to let them know this happened.

No USB ports of ANY kind, so be sure to bring a traditional wall plug charger. "Lipstick on a pig" remodeling is challenging for budget motels. Workers have to work fast and quality suffers. This motel has been going through a remodeling process. Inside paint job was pretty good but whoever did the spray texture was too lazy to remove the bathroom door so there are painted over globs of texture on it as well as the trim. It only takes a few more minutes to do it right. Outlet covers were sometimes loose and didn't match the outlet color. The wood furniture and chair need replacing or sanding and repainting.

We arrived at our hotel at 3pm to find out our hot tub was torn apart with no hot water they then proceeded to try to put us with our newborn baby in a room that reeked of mildew even though we expressed a severe mold allergy then were told our room would be ready in a hour and waited till 2am for a refund the the police were called on us because we wanted a refund because we had no hot water . Terrible terrible TERRIBLE HOTEL!!

Staff was all brand new and didn’t know much about the check in/check out process. Trying to get a refund has been a lengthy ordeal.

Room was dirty, a spider fell on my leg when I walked in. Cobwebs and dust in the room, floorboards cracking and coming up. Spa bath caulking was all split. Seemed to have dried blood or unknown substance in the bath tub. My wife and I didn’t feel good about staying here so we left and stayed at a different motel in Aberdeen.

The smell. The location. The outdated EVERYTHING. The cleanliness. The disfunction at check in.

I felt like it was overpriced, the booking website said no extra cost for pets but they did charge an extra $25/ night for my dog.
