Everything was great will stay there again
Nothing to complain about
Did not eat any breakfast.
When I first checked in and went to use the restroom, I was greeted by a spider on the floor. Good thing I am not afraid of spiders. I chose not to say anything, didn’t want to change rooms or have the rm smell like bug spray. (I liked the first floor room) The bed was so high I had a VERY HARD TIME getting into the bed . I wondered if they had a step stool for us short people who have had joint replacements. I do realize it is easier for staff with a high bed.
It was very clean and modern. No old dusty curtains or bedding.

The toilet would not shut off. The Television next door was loudly playing all night. The staff could not get the other customer to wake up to shut off the television. It was a terrible experience
It was just okay. The venue was conveniently located near a wedding we were attending, making it easy to get to. There was ample parking available, and the lot was well-lit. When we arrived, the staff was friendly and welcoming.
The interior of the building was as dull as its exterior paint. Upon entering through the front door, you immediately encountered the breakfast bar and had a full view of the laundry area. The smell of detergent was overpowering, adding to the place's overall blandness. The decor felt like leftovers from another location, and the overstuffed chair was actually lacking support, as it sank down to the framework. The person managing breakfast seemed overly concerned about having enough food available, resulting in a line of people waiting ten deep for yogurt, eggs, and a few extra sausages. This just added to the fact that everything seemed cheap. I realize we were not paying for Ritz Carlton, but for the $265/two nights - I was hoping for a bit more.

The staff was very friendly and helpful to ease our concerns.
We had to move rooms because our room contained much moisture and black mold in the bathroom. Ceiling appeared to have suffered water damage that may have not been properly mitigated. It smelled musty and like something had urinated somewhere other than the toilet. Room did not appear clean, dust, hairs, and cobwebs. The 2nd room they moved us to to also had dust and cobwebs but lacked the other concerns and was satisfactory to continue and complete our two day stay.

The bed was comfortable, the room and bathroom were very clean, the room was spacious and had microwave/coffeemaker. It was a convenient location close to Luther College. The breakfast was nice, they had basic choices of hot and cold food.
The pillows in hotels always leave something to be desired for me, the shower was too strong (not something you see often on hotel reviews), it’s always disappointing when they jack the prices on a busy weekend but it was nice to be close by and that’s what we are paying for I guess
