Lots of nice touches made the stay welcoming, convenient location, good food , lots of charm and ambiance.
I liked everything
location and breakfast
The lock on my room seemed having some problem. At one point, after we closed the door, the door was supposed to be locked by itself, but we still could twist the handle to open the door. However, the next day, it was fine.
Très propre, à deux pas de Westminster Abbey, petit déjeuner top !

Ashley greeted us with everything one would expect...friendly informative
Terrific!
Housekeeping had a problem with swapping out towels...and leaving enough..like 2 wash cloths for us
Excellent location. Short walk to 2 tube stations and several sights of interest. Loved the pub on the ground floor. Had a dinner and several breakfasts there, and food was fantastic every time.

Perfect location near the Elizabeth Tower
Small choice of food while breakfast
What an amazing find. So central to main attractions. Clean, fantastic staff, beautiful bedrooms with all the extras. Breakfast was faultless. We were able to leave our bags before check in too. I really can't recommend this hotel highly enough.
This was my second time at the Sanctuary House, but first for my husband. The first time I came was about 20 years ago when I brought my mother to the Chelsea flower show. I loved it then and loved it this time as well.
The location can’t be beat. You can easily walk to Westminster Abbey, Parliament, the Thames, Buckingham palace and more. You are also close to the tube station. It’s also a very quiet area!
The hotel is a not a full service hotel, but it has all you need. And it has a great pub downstairs. The included breakfast was great. You could choose from the buffet as well as order a full English from the menu.
It’s always nice to come back and have a pint or glass of wine at the end of the day.
The Sanctuary House Hotel is just that—a sanctuary in the heart of London. Check-in was quick and effortless. While the staff weren’t overly warm and could occasionally come across as a bit curt, the hotel itself more than made up for it.
The location is exceptional, just minutes from many of London’s iconic attractions, including Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, St. James’s Park, and Buckingham Palace. It’s also only about a one-minute walk to the St. James’s Park Tube station, making it incredibly easy to get anywhere in London.
Another feature that really added to the experience was the pub downstairs. The buffet breakfast was excellent, and they also offered a generous menu of freshly prepared hot meals, making it an easy and enjoyable place to eat before or after a day of sightseeing.
I would absolutely stay at the Sanctuary House Hotel again if I return to England, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to friends and family looking for a comfortable, well-located place to stay in London.
The quality and location. They had everything you would need.
Small space between bathroom door and sink made entering and exiting difficult.
We were a bit hesitant after reading some reviews but so glad we booked at stayed here.
The location is fantastic so close to everything. We were looked after nice friendly staff, the breakfast was simple but perfect, loved the choice of hot option as well.
The room was clean, we had 208 and it was quiet.
Would definitely stay again.
The bed could be a bit bigger
