Overall a great experience, we will come back.
Pros:

Staff was very friendly and accommodating with nice touches such as bathrobes, complimentary fruit and water. We had to change rooms due to a mix up on our part. The 2nd room was smaller but as soon as a nicer room (suite) was available we were moved to that at minimal cost.
The pool area was nice with most rooms facing the pool with easy access.
We liked having the barbecues and ability to have a few friends by to enjoy a birthday dinner. The location is great and central to the Living Desert Zoo, great shopping on El Paseo and the many stores and restaurants on Hwy 111 within walking distance.

Cons:

The hotel is older and could probably use some upgrades, however it was clean.

Pros:

The lodging has fewer rooms than the big resorts. We found a friendly atmosphere around the pool with the other guests.If it is not too hot, one can walk to dining and shops, otherwise it is a few minutes by car.The grounds were well kept and the office staff friendly. We would stay again.

Room was awful considering the cost. WC was blocked. No glasses for wine. Drapes dirty. Bed terrible. Door did not feel secure

A decent place to stay in Palm Desert. Fun pool but beds not so comfy.
Pros:

The pool grounds were inviting though first night we were there full of loud people blasting music and lotsa kids…they quieted next night though which was nice

Cons:

The beds were super uncomfortable and rooms a little dated. Extremely loud AC hard to sleep with

Cons:

Customer service was terrible the manager said he would come to our room to loo at a problem. HE nicely offered to bring 2 water bottles. THen he never showed up!

C était vraiment propre, la piscine était très bien entretenue. aucun problème.

Cons:

La déco de la chambre moins bien que sur les photos du site mais rien de choquant.
pour 2 nuits c était pas du tout un problème, mais juste un peu moins bien.

Quite comfortable.
Pros:

The Inn was clean and comfortable. Somewhat dated but quaint in a way (postcards to send were left in the room) There were pool robes which was a nice touch. Did not have breakfast and did not use the pool. Had to park on the street but it was close to our venue for the evening. Property was quaint and well maintained from what I could see.

Cons:

More parking; 2 bottles of water for 2 guests instead of one.

nice and comfy convenient accommodations. Would definitely stay there again BUT with lower price.
Pros:

The accommodations were just fine. Not first class but very comfortable.

Cons:

I did not like that I made the reservation in advance and later found out that the price I paid was almost twice whet others paid without an advanced reservation. We feel like Booking.com gouged us.
