La côte, la mer, la plage au pied de la falaise : un bel aperçu de la Croatie, depuis votre balcon !

El hotel tiene unas vistas espectaculares a la playa Bellevue y al Adriático. Cuenta, frente a la playa, con una zona de hamacas y parasoles para los huéspedes y con un ascensor que baja a la playa desde el hotel. Muy cómodo. Justo al lado de la zona de hamacas, hay un chiringo de playa que se llama Nevera en donde se puede almorzar o tomar algo. La calidad de la comida es bastante buena, aunque algo cara. Los desayunos en el restaurante Vapor se merecen un 10!! El bufé es completísimo y las vistas al Adriático, espectaculares. El hotel está muy cerca de la ciudad vieja de Dubrovnik, a unos 10 minutos en taxi, tanto a la puerta de Ploce como a la de Pile. Eso sí, los taxis desde el hotel hasta la ciudad vieja son caros, entre unos 20 y 25 euros. También se puede ir andando desde el hotel a la "old city", pero toma unos 30 minutos, y con el calorazo que hace allí en agosto, no lo recomiendo. En primavera u otoño se podría ir andando, sin problema.

Cons:

Me hospedé 8 días en el Hotel Bellevue, junto con mi pareja, en una habitación con una maravillosa vista frontal al mar Adriático. Solo tengo un reparo: el baño de la habitación solo cuenta con un interruptor, que conecta la luz y el extractor de olores al mismo tiempo. El ruido del extractor resulta insoportable. Convendría contar con un doble interruptor, uno para la luz y otro para el extractor.

A luxury treat with spectacular cliff side sea views and easy access to beach

Absolutely spectacular views!
I keep returning to Bellevue every year for a luxury treat, the views are the best, as the hotel is on top of the cliff with direct elevator access to the secluded beach that is open to public, which adds to the ambience . The elevator ride to the beach ( glass walls, the views) is a visual experience in itself, just wow! It takes you straight to the hotel terrace with sun loungers and restaurant facilities, few steps from the sea.
The staff are warm, friendly and welcoming without exception
The breakfast buffet choices are amazing, and hot options as well, with plenty of vegan options.
Make sure you check out the indoor pool and spa facilities, I was there in May so I took advantage of the heated pool.
I was lucky enough this time to be treated to an upgrade to a deluxe suite, but any of the rooms with a balcony and sea view is amazing.
The old town is a pleasant walk away, but there are plenty of transport options.
