Stunning, Just Stay Here If You Can
Pros:

It’s incredible, the location couldn’t be better, the staff are phenomenal, the hotel itself immaculate especially considering the extensive history. The breakfast is fantastic, and the bar at night, again considering the history is great. The rooms are beautifully detailed and views couldn’t be better, highly recommend

Cons:

The air conditioning wasn’t great, shut off at night so I would recommend asking for a fan or air circulation is something that helps you sleep.

Pros:

Most of the Reception staff was very polite and willing to engage.
Breakfast and bar service was professional and pleasant.

Cons:

The sandstone cleaning team outside the main entrance to the hotel starting work around 3am. The noisy equipment kept us awake till about 5am.
However when mentioning this at reception the next morning we were offered a couple of drink vouchers at the bar as a goodwill gesture.

Wonderful place in Dubrovnik
Pros:

Fantastic location and iconic building. Staff extremely courteous and helpful especially Ivana at breakfast😊 So many other staff I could mention but didn't always see their name badge
We had a couple of problems in the room, quickly sorted by the team, thank you.
Would not hesitate to recommend,

Better than expected
Pros:

Its position just outside Pile gate is fantastic. It allowed us to dip in and out of the old town and its crowds. It is a much more interesting historic building than anticipated. The terrace and restaurant terrace are lovely though rather noisy next to a busy road.

Cons:

Our room on the top floor of an adjacent building was rather soulless though it had all amenities and a panoramic view of the houses behind the hotel and the chair lift.

Pros:

Best location in town. Amazing old building renovated . Great staff. Marina was outstanding with us suggesting a private driver to a day trip to Montenegro.

Great massages & even better high tea!!
Pros:

Excellent massage experience & even better high tea!!
Booked 3 massages. 1 Swedish and 2 deep tissue. Massueses were on time and each of us had a great experience. Only downer was shower wasn’t working properly.
We then went to their high tea. €25 for high tea w/a glass of sparkling wine. Can’t believe the portions! Could have likely ordered 2 or maybe even 1, but there was 2 of everything from salmon sandwiches to scones to chocolate cakes to macaroons! Food was great. Service was excellent. Highly recommend. If you are only 2 people, trust me, just order one!!

Old world charm meets modern luxury!
Pros:

Incredible place to stay in Dubrovnik! We loved our stay here. It is just outside the old city gate. The hotel is a historic hotel and has exudes old world charm. We had a spacious room with a view. We enjoyed the amazing breakfast spread every morning. You could step out and be in the old city within a couple of minutes. The staff at the reception and the concierge were great and gave us amazing recommendations. There are a number of dining options close by.

Perfect position
Pros:

Prime location near Pile Gate and exceptional staff, a really good hotel.
Room was clean and well equipped. Breakfast was very good, the hotel is hard to fault.
My wife has mobility issues and struggled getting into the pool but we don't expect perfection wherever we go !
