Days Inn by Wyndham London Stansted Airport

I have stayed in cleaner rooms. There were dead insects along the skirting board and marks in the bathroom walls and shower. Seemed to be no insulation between floors as the elephant upstairs was thumping around both nights, on and off all night, both nights. We eventually gave up on sleeping and checked out very early and went home to our own beds. Probably won't be staying there again. On a good note staff were wounderfull and the reception area looked lovely.

Nice, clean close to the airport, after a 6 hours delay and missed flight connection… a quiet place ready to crash in was just what the doctor ordered!
Definitely use it again!

It was ok for a short overnight stay.

Our room was over the front door which opened and closed all night ! Plus opposite the entrance to the lift which did exactly the same.
Worse sleep ever ! No caring response from receptionist either

I booked this hotel prior to flying from Stansted because hotel website says there is a shuttle bus...This is incorrect I was told at Stansted that there is no shuttle and that there are no local buses on Sundays. I had to get an Uber which cost £31 ! The person on reception was helpful and informed that we could use the local bus the following day and got us times. He also gave directions. 5 stars for reception staff, but the hotel website needs to be updated !

Booked in advance so good value. Plenty of free parking; registration plate is required with check-in. The man on reception was efficient and friendly. Hallway to room was clean and smelt fresh. Room had desk, two chairs, storage/hanging space, TV, was clean, neat and tidy with comfortable beds. A kettle with coffee tea facilities were provided. Shower was all good but the loose toilet roll holder was annoying. It’s in services so some food/drink facilities available. Less than 10 minute drive to Stansted airport - I would use again :)

We arrived late evening and were departing early am to catch a flight. Mohammed was prompt in checking us in (and out) and was friendly and helpful. The room was perfect; clean and cosy for me and my two grown up kids to share. Short transfer by uber to the airport to ensure we got our early flight. All in all a pleasant experience.

Just too much noise with the traffic and the aircraft. Staff were great and the room was lovely.

Hotels very clean and tidy , only issue was not being aware of the car park charges , £5 but I was only made aware when booking in , it was quiet thankfully as half the car park is electric vehicle charging limiting space for guests

Quiet location

The days inn itself was fine for our stay before a flight from Stansted. The staff were friendly and the room fine. Sadly, there are very unsafe manhole covers on the walkway running from the hotel to the services (uneven and with a deep dip in the adjoining path), the path is badly lit and even though I was watching my steps, it was pitch black and I fell over and badly twisted by arm and ankle, as were as grazing up my arms and legs. I have reported the incident to the receptionist, so I'm hoping the management look into it before someone badly injures themselves.

Ideal location for early morning flight from Stansted. Just what you need for overnight stay. Comfortable, quiet room. Easy access to service station amenities. Easy check in and check out. Good price. Nothing to dislike.

Easy check in really nice young man on reception. Room was excellent nice and clean, good bed & pillows, great bathroom. Tea & coffee tray nicely stocked. Quiet room. Easy very early morning check out. Perfect!

I stayed at this hotel recently and unfortunately, the experience was far from relaxing. The room faced a busy street and a car park, which made it extremely noisy throughout the day and night. To make matters worse, there was no air conditioning, so keeping the windows closed wasn’t an option — the heat was unbearable.

Another major inconvenience was breakfast. Although it was included in the booking, guests were required to walk to a different hotel to have it. This was not communicated clearly in advance and felt like a hassle, especially in the morning.

Overall, the lack of basic comfort and poor planning made the stay disappointing.

Very comfortable, clean, conveniently next to Stansted airport.

It’s very basic and poor, it’s noisy the sink had an issue it is cheap and near the airport but that is about all it has going for it. They could have done something to reduce noisy doors. It also has no lift.
