Our Stay at the Hotel

We had a wonderful experience at the hotel from the moment we arrived. The hotel completely met all of our expectations and provided everything we needed for a comfortable, enjoyable, and relaxing stay. The atmosphere, service, and overall experience were excellent, and we would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome.

Matteo’s Outstanding Service

However, Matteo truly took our experience to another level. He is an incredibly kind, warm, attentive, and service-oriented person. He took care of us exceptionally well and always made us feel welcomed and valued.

No matter what we asked, Matteo was always happy to help. He gave us detailed and thoughtful answers, went above and beyond to assist us, and made sure we had everything we needed.

What stood out to us the most was his genuine warmth, friendliness, and care for the guests. His positive attitude and kindness made our stay so much more enjoyable.

Even though the hotel already exceeded our expectations, Matteo made the experience twice as special. His service truly made a difference, and we are very grateful for everything he did for us.

We would absolutely recommend this hotel to everyone we know, and Matteo is definitely one of the main reasons why. He is a wonderful representative of the hotel and deserves all the appreciation and recognition for his outstanding service. ❤️

Lovely stay and would recommend. What really stood out for us was the customer service. Responses to emails ahead of the trip were very prompt and professional, and the warm welcome we received when we arrived really set the tone for a positive and comfortable stay - management should be proud of their staff as you cannot underestimate the importance of making guests feel at ease and welcome as soon as they arrive.

We arrived a few hours before check in and appreciated being allowed to leave our bags in a storage room - being offered bottled water before we headed off for a little explore was a kind touch. It’s v hot in Rome atm and we were grateful to receive a message to let us know our room was ready (earlier than expected) and our bags were waiting for us in our room. We also appreciated the ice bucket delivery to our room, and a complementary bottle of fizz.

In terms of the hotel itself - its very clean, great location (there’s a super market and mini market close by, and restaurants a short walk), quiet (we had a room with a balcony and couldn’t hear traffic when windows were closed) and great air con.

Overall a lovely stay - the highlight being the staff and their approach. Keep doing what you’re doing - it works and is appreciated! Thank you!

We stayed at Trulissa Palace Hotel in Rome from the 8th–10th and honestly, it was amazing. We were a little sceptical after seeing some of the negative reviews, but it completely exceeded our expectations and we genuinely couldn’t fault our stay.

From the second we arrived, the staff were so lovely, welcoming and helpful. Every time we had a question, they were more than happy to help and were always so informative. The hotel itself was absolutely spotless — genuinely, there wasn’t a single bit of dirt anywhere. Everything was so clean and well looked after.

We stayed in what I believe was one of the more basic rooms, but even that was exceptional. We had a balcony, a mini bar and everything we could have needed was provided. One night, our TV stopped working at around 12–1am, and they immediately sent someone up to help us. He had a little look around and managed to get it working again, which we really appreciated considering how late it was.

We also booked the spa, which you get at a discounted price as a hotel guest (up to 30%, I believe). Unfortunately, we completely overslept and missed the time we had booked, but they were so understanding and more than happy to let us go in a different slot instead. Everyone was just genuinely so kind and accommodating.

Breakfast was included with our stay and there was such a huge variety, so there was loads to choose from. The rooftop bar was also amazing. We unfortunately didn’t get the chance to eat up there, but we went up for a quick drink and it was lovely.

The location was also perfect. It was so close to the centre and there were loads of transport options nearby — buses, trains, bikes, electric scooters, pretty much everything you could need. It made getting around Rome so easy.

Overall, we genuinely loved our stay here. The hotel was beautiful and spotless, the location was great and the staff were honestly some of the nicest and most helpful we’ve come across. We were so impressed, especially considering we had been a little put off by some of the reviews beforehand. I would 100% recommend staying here and would definitely come back! ♡

Excellent Staff very friendly and always helpful. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel and eat at the restaurant and definitely use the Spa.

Our room was spotless, and even though it faced a busy, noisy street, it was surprisingly quiet and relaxing inside. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and we appreciated having coffee and tea-making facilities as well as a minibar in the room. The staff were amzing throughout our stay, always friendly, welcoming, and ready to help with directions or recommendations. The location was very unique, with tram and bus stops just down the street, making it easy to explore the city. There was also a huge market opposite the hotel on Sunday morning, which was great for browsing. The rooftop bar offered beautiful views and was a lovely place to unwind after a day out. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit.

Our room was very clean and although it faced the busy noisy street it was very quiet and relaxing. The A/C worked perfectly, there is coffee and tee making facilities and a mini bar. The staff are amazing and so helpful. Great location, tram and bus stop just down the street and a huge market opposite on a Sunday morning. Great views from the roof top bar. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Rome.

We booked this hotel based on advice from colleagues who stayed there several months ago. I must say that the staff, specifically Alessandro at the front desk and Fabiana at the breakfast bar, are the epitome of great customer service ! Alessandro provided us with a wealth of information on places to eat nearby. We had a horrible experience at the rooftop restaurant ( see review of the 8th floor rooftop restaurant) and took our complaint to Alessandro who immediately called a manager. We spoke with Marco and Carolina and discussed the horrible customer service we experienced. Aside from the rooftop restaurant, this restaurant does provide an excellent experience for tourists.

We stayed at this hotel for 6 days,The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. The room was spotless, very clean, and exceptionally quiet, allowing us to relax and sleep comfortably every night. The location is one of the best in Rome, with easy access to all major attractions and excellent public transportation connections. Getting around the city by bus was very convenient and hassle-free. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Great Staff, nice hotel.
Paolo ( bar) Alessandro ( chef) Carolina, Matteo, Andrea, Lorena, and others were all lovely and I made sure to tell them that! In particular they calmed me when I left my phone in a Taxi! - and they got it back for me immediately. The hotel beds are Wonderful, for good sleeps. A lovely holiday.

My partner and I had a lovely 4 days in Rome and the Trilissa Palace Hotel was just perfect for our stay. Bonus for having a sushi restaurant right next door where we ate every evening. The Spa's at the hotel were gorgeous, we booked 2 different ones whilst we were there. Breakfast was lovely, plenty to choose from. Wonderful helpful staff who went out there way. Would def return and highly recommend.

The day started out wonderfully and ended better the food was wonderful and the SERVICE GOD BLESS THEM they were super cute and attentive the place is super clean and we had our space and privacy we got the moon spa it was perfecttt and babes clock it it was a blast I on my end super recommend for relaxation and fun time

Really great place in Trastevere away from the tourist centers. You get to walk among locals who live their lives in the neighborhood. Because of this you either get your steps in or learn to take the bus/ride taxis. The staff goes out of their way to accommodate. The bar and adjoining restaurant has a classy atmosphere and great food. We never felt crowded staying at Trilussa. The rooms are tight and clean but manageable. The dark-out curtains made the room perfectly dark for sleeping in.

I have stayed here several times (it's my go to in Rome) however this time was different - I arrived having taken a fall onto the tracks at termini while getting off the train -- I didn't realize it then , but I fractured my sacrum - I arrived at the hotel and the staff could not have been nicer - a young man went out and brought me ibuprofen (helped a lot) -- they offered pillows for the chairs on the roof deck - all in all the folks could not have been nicer - This is a place that feels like home in the eternal city -- THANK YOU Trilussa Palace !!

Excellent hotel with fantastic staff. Nothing was too much trouble. They responded to all my emailed questions, booked us a lovely dinner, had great session in the moon spa with the family. The family suite was fantastic, comfortable beds and well set up. The mini bar was good value and therefore could actually be used. Location is good for transport too. As well as central Rome, we ate at the Natural Cafe for launch (opposite), the roadhouse steak house (opposite right) for a change from pasta (not the best but good steak / burger), a little outdoor cafe by the petrol station (left as you walk out) and used the gelato shop twice very near by (again left). We also ate in the 8th floor hotel restaurant. That was good but wine sadly was really expensive so saved our money . In summary great and comfortable hotel.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Trilussa Palace Hotel in Trastevere in Rome. We love it because it is easy to access public transportation from there. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the spa one of the evenings during our stay. I loved the Turkish bath. Their breakfast is great, too. I highly recommend it next time you are in the Eternal City!

Well priced with a great location. The staff was super friendly and spoke English. Rooms are clean, food was good, and the rooftop bar with views stays open late for a great way to end each day.

The property was clean. The rooftop restaurant was quaint and cozy. Transportation is directly across the street that takes you easily to major tourist areas like the Colosseum, Spanish steps, Trevi fountain, etc. staff was super friendly and attentive, and the property felt safe due to a 24 hour Front Desk and then locking the doors late in the evening to be sure. Only guests are entering the property

Reason for choosing was the pool/spa and roof top bar. Roof top bar was closed due to weather even though there was small rain shower in the morning and spa was expensive

We chose this because it was close to th Sunday flea market—across the street!
