The buffet food was good. The location was amazing. Lovely staff. Such a beautiful place and lots of activities to do
One staff was very rude at the buffet (short haired female). We were also very disappointed in the fact that water wasn’t included in the regular buffet. You had to get the full drinks package to get water
Good location
Not clean to standard, bad food in the buffet
Our stay at Hotel Alua Soul was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the stunning decor—every detail of the interior and ambiance was stylish, elegant, and created a truly relaxing atmosphere.
The food was simply outstanding. Every meal was a delight, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious dishes that exceeded our expectations. Dining at the hotel quickly became one of the highlights of our stay.
The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. We want to give special thanks to Mrs. Ania, who stood out with her warmth, professionalism, and kindness. She made us feel truly cared for and added a personal touch to our experience that we’ll never forget.
The hotel was also impeccably clean—our room and all the common areas were spotless. The swimming pool was absolutely beautiful, a perfect place to unwind, and we especially appreciated the excellent availability of sunbeds. There was never any stress about finding a good spot to relax.
Another detail that really made a difference was the music playing around the pool and in the hotel lobby. It was perfectly chosen—relaxing, not too loud, but with a great energy that matched the vibe of the place. It added a subtle but important touch to the overall atmosphere.
Aluś Soul is a perfect choice for anyone looking to unwind in style and comfort. We left feeling refreshed and already thinking about when we can come back. Highly recommended!
Probably a low 4*, but it was ok. The food wasn’t great, which is is a big part of the holiday for us. It wasn’t terrible but quite repetitive and of average quality. It was quite hilly and mum found it quite a trek in the hot sun to get to the beach and pool area. It is quite small. The views are beautiful and the rooms were clean. There wasn’t many long beach walks, although there is a lovely small beach next to the hotel. Don’t go on the “ecological walk”- I thought this was about nature and learning things about the local wildlife- it was a litter pick! 😂
Pool was nice for swimming. Drinks were nice on the all inclusive package.
Good beach and location
Too crowded, food was terrible, everything was very basic
First time back at Cala Egos since the complex became adults only under Hyatt. We were not disappointed! Our request for a quite, sea view room on a high floor was met and we benefitted from the extras that joining the My Favorite Club option afforded. We were late in the season and the shutdown of some facilities was already under way during our final 5 days, the MFC bar was closed early and the specialist restaurants options dwindled. Having said that, the food in all of the restaurants and the main buffet could not be faulted, the choices each day meant that we varied our meals throughout our stay. Particularly impressed with the variety of seafood options available. Staff were ever helpful and enhanced the experience throughout, with a shout out to Ros who seemed to pop up everywhere in the restaurants. It should be noted that the lovely sandy beach and inlet are open to the public but the main pool further back is only for hotel guests. The all inclusive option worked for us in both value and quality of the food and drinks available. The hotel is well placed for public transport to other parts of the island and the fares are reasonable. Tap on, tap off is operated on the buses with a discount applied if you use the same card for all people in your party. I had read some negative reviews before we booked and we heard some people complaining when we were there, all I can say is that you reap what you sow! All in all we had a relaxing and enjoyable 10 days.
