Will stay here again.
Pros:

Great location and the staff are so helpful and friendly. Love the room so much, good view of the river and the Flinders Station the bed is so soft and comfortable. The pool is nice and clean.

Cons:

I was about to take a bath and while i was waiting for water to fill the bath i noticed that there was a little black stuff everywhere in the water, i look closely and and it seemed like dust. I clean the bathtub before use as well so I believe it might be from the pipe or something. But after I drained the bath and refilled it again it was fine

Wonderful and worth a second trip
Pros:

Excellent location by the waterfront on Southbank. Amazing views from the room of the river and city. Beautiful and well appointed hotel. Thoughtful and carefully planned & wonderful facilities - small touches like antique handles to all drawers or cupboards, decorations matching well with interiors or themes, spacious rooms.
Very nice fragrance throughout the hotel (apparently it is Ginger Rose signature of Langham facilities)
A handwritten welcome note was a small and thoughtful gesture to make us feel special
5 stars to all staff whoever we interacted with (no exception)

Cons:

Two things - taps are all hot and cold separate (hot runs very hot very quickly, spent a lot of time just trying to get the temp right; missed opportunity as no mixer)
Second, gave keys to reception with request to retrieve the luggage. An hour later (we finished a slow leisurely breakfast and then some time) the luggage had not been retrieved- had to make the taxi wait for it (taxi was booked online after the breakfast and even that arrived earlier)

Pros:

Location was perfect, right in the heart of the South Bank. Room was quiet, clean and comfy. Food was excellent, including the room service.

Cons:

Nothing I didn't like. I'll return here next year.
