Check out was 12 midday yet the cleaner entered the room twice before then to check if we were there.

Room rate expensive for mediocre accommodation
Pros:

The parking facility is good as is the pedestrian access to the centre of Bayeux. The restaurant facility is satisfactory and is helped by an excellent buffet facility.

Cons:

The overall room accommodation was very tired and for more than a one night stay, somewhat cramped.

Very uncomfortable to sleep, the air didn't work and there was no window screen to open the window.

Overall the stay was OK the location was the main positive. Rooms need updating and cleaning better.
Pros:

Overall we had an enjoyable stay. Check in was quick and trouble free. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the town centre. The bed was very comfortable and the area very peaceful. The breakfast was as expected with a variety of choice with hot and cold drinks. The staff were very friendly.

Cons:

The room was very dated and quite cramped. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest especially the toilet. The water in the sink didnt go down very fast which was a pain. There was a note saying gnats were present in the room, which i understand was a pre warning - we did actually see a few - but made us feel very uneasy.

Wir waren auf "Bildungsreise" - und dafür war das Hotel voll und ganz angemessen.
