Great location (assuming you're driving) well located for getting to the Clearwater beaches, to St Petersburg, Tampa etc. Close to a large Target as well. Comfortable rooms, cleanliness was okay.
There is one serious issue at this properly - the first room we stayed in (168) had a bad sewage smell in the bathroom. We asked to be moved and the new room's bathroom smelt much BETTER (this was a few doors down, 178), but when the sink or shower was being used / water was flowing, the smell comes back. After some chatGPT conversations I've learnt that US plumbing has the same "P trap" used in the UK (meaning in theory there should be no smell coming up from the sewage pipes) so I think there is some kind of underlying plumbing issue here or vent stack issue. Apart of this issue, everything else represented good value for money / the property felt like a good choice. In the end as we were settled / the location worked for us, we just put up with the bad smell.
This place was like a motel located right off the highway. It was not what we were expecting from the photos. We had a sliding door that opened to a parking lot in a neighborhood that wasn't ideal. There was also a huge dead cockroach in our room. The breakfast was okay but the whole facility was just run now slightly.
