Service was very bad, especially at the bar.
Food was bad. Bad. Bad.
Spa services / staff was just ok.
Trays and tables were never picked up.
Spa was broken , pool area not clean.
Complained to manager / staff - no one ever got back to me as promised.
The architecture was really special, with beautiful natural textures and a wonderful combination of wood and iron throughout the property. The gardens were very well maintained, and I loved that every room seemed to have its own private garden view, which made the stay feel peaceful and secluded. The bed was also one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in during this trip.
The use of disposable cups was disappointing, especially in a hotel of this standard. There was also a noticeable lack of proper glassware, both in the room and at reception. Providing real glasses and cups would make the experience feel much more refined and environmentally conscious.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was wonderful. Staff was friendly and helpful - especially valet. Grounds were large and peaceful to wander. Would be a great venue for a destination wedding.

Quit, comfortable and unique
Nice attention to detail in the design of the property. The grounds were beautiful.
This is a beautiful resort!! Very quiet and zen-like throughout the property. it was quiet even though we were within walking distance to town, (or take the hotel shuttle that will pick you up shortly after texting that you are ready to return). Loved the layout of the room especially with the jetted tub near the bed. perfect for a wedding venue or other high-end groups. Staff were all great. we especially liked Brooke our waitress And Greg the bartender. Brooke was so attentive and nice to chat with. She has alot of potential to expand into a higher level position, which I hope she gets the opportunity. Rate includes a full sit-down breakfast or get it to go. There restaurant food was excellent!!! The only complaint was the hot tub next to the pool jets did not work. We tried to let them know by using the phone right there next to the tub, but that didn''t work either. Highly recommend this luxury hotel!!
