We stayed in the apartments and they were perfect for our family of 4. Beautiful room and was fun to do the tasting experience at the Court overlooking the Coliseum.

Η τοποθεσία άριστη, θεαματική και η συμπεριφορά του προσωπικού πολύ φιλική και ευγενική! Ξεπέρασε τις προσδοκίας μας!

Beds were super comfortable
No hotel bar .
Do início ao fim da estadia foi tudo ótimo, conforto e qualidade, recomendo
Lovely, niche boutique hotel.
We stayed in one of the apartments, really great size & perfect as travelling with family. I was a little aprehensive about booking an apartment but I needn't have, other than room service all other hotel services applied to the apartments.
Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Colosseum was stunning.
Breakfast could have been a bit speedier but very tasty.
The location to the Colosseum was exceptional. However, the value and noise were not worth it. I was disappointed in the noise from the main streets into our room. I also believed the restaurant was not an experience we could afford and continue our vacation.
Review – Palazzo Manfredi
Warning: safety concerns for families and solo travelers.
This was our second stay at the Palazzo Manfredi and, unfortunately, this visit was marred by a serious criminal incident. Upon arrival at the property, we noticed that the neighborhood appeared to have deteriorated. Many buildings were now defaced with graffiti and suspicious-looking groups lingered around the hotel property. The day before the incident, we became concerned that an individual was following us back to the hotel. When we tried to confront him, he quickly got into a car waiting outside the hotel. The next day, shortly after we had exited the hotel, what appeared to be the same person, now accompanied by a larger group, followed us again. Eventually, this group surrounded my son and assaulted him by ripping a necklace off his neck. Minutes later, when we tried to enlist help, my son was accosted by some of his initial assailants who tried to force him into a car. In the ensuing confrontation, and in trying to protect my children, I fell and suffered multiple fractures to my left arm, requiring emergency medical treatment in Rome and later major surgery in the U.S.
In the immediate aftermath of my injury, hotel management was difficult to reach in a timely manner and, once we finally were able to connect, offered little logistical or practical support. Before and during the stay, hotel management or staff provided no warnings about crime in the immediate or general area. Thereafter, they refused a refund, stating in substance that off-property incidents were not their responsibility.
Given the many choices of lodging in Rome, travelers would be wise to book different properties. In my opinion, the hotel’s management practices, lack of security, and the apparent rash of street crime in the general vicinity of the hotel may put guests at risk.
Struttura meravigliosa di fronte al Colosseo. Servizi di lusso, attenti al cliente su ogni cosa. Ristorante meraviglioso.
Great location and staff were superb during full trip.
Nothing
Had a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment that was separate from the hotel. Both showers had significant mold growing on the tiles and grout. We informed the staff and they gave us €60 off of a €800 suite. They had room service Turing the room over before we had even checked out. The Marco Apartment is a good concept but poorly executed. The apartment building smells like fish in the common areas.
Pretty sure the private parking garage they use tracked our vehicle location as we were robbed shortly after stopping at a mall to buy an extra suitcase.
Great location. The place is beautiful

The terrace at breakfast is absolutely amazing, offering stunning views of the Colosseum and the Fori Imperiali — truly one of the best locations you could ask for. The breakfast service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. And the porter was exceptionally welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.
The property is beautifully maintained, but I would not recommend it for families with younger children, as they are not allowed in the restaurants and the overall atmosphere feels more suited to adults.
When we arrived, there was a queue outside the restaurant and it wasn’t immediately clear where to go. The hostess noticed us but didn’t offer assistance right away, which felt a little uncomfortable, though someone eventually came to help and welcomed us in.
While the facilities are nice, the experience lacked the level of personalization you might expect at this standard. For instance, the welcome amenity was a bottle of Prosecco even though the hotel was aware I was traveling with a child. Some small details were also overlooked — face towels weren’t replenished after the first day, and turndown service was only provided once during our three-night stay.
Overall, it’s a lovely property, but better suited to adult travelers than families with young children.
