Avila family stay-cation
Pros:

We did a stay-cation for spring break and chose to stay at the Avila Village Inn. Upon arrival we learned our room had been incorrectly booked when I called. However, CJ, front desk, worked his magic and managed to get us two rooms so we could indeed stay as we had planned.

We loved the hot tub on our deck, the grounds and lawn space to play, and the closeness to the Bob Jones trail. The room has spacious and fun, we had a great time.

Only downside to the trip is the fact that you have to pay to use the adjacent pool, and they have no kid size bikes to check out. We opted for the beach instead of pool, and our kids walked the trail instead of biked, and still had a great time.

Overall a great experience and the customer service, especially by CJ, was excellent.

Overall it was a lovely property and rooms were roomy and clean. Just wish they would return the favor of the hotel pic
Pros:

Beautiful area. Beautiful views and rooms were new and clean.

Cons:

We were disappointed to discover the access to the pool and spa was an additional fee of $35 per person per day. This was not transparently communicated to us so we did not get to utilize the pool/spa .

Pleasant but not outstanding
Pros:

Looks like a PNW National Park lodge. Bed was nice.

Cons:

Limited nearby dining options, none in the building itself. Taking a shower is hazardous as you climb over a tall tub wall only to step onto a floor that gets slippery with any water. You can’t pivot over the edge due to the shower door.

pretty surrounding area close to beach. the seating area by the fireplace was cozy and comfy
Pros:

a verbal reminder at check in of all the services, we could use at the club during our stay.
even if we do have to pay extra

Cons:

The shower jacuzzi bath tub was way too big to get into if you’re 5 foot or shorter it is dangerous and I could’ve slipped at any time.

Great stay!
Pros:

Our stay at the Avila Village Inn was so great! The newly remodeled rooms are beautiful! We booked for a family trip and it was so relaxing with the balcony view. The manager Mindy was friendly and welcoming! Mindy suggested for us to ride the bikes to the beach and it was so much fun! We will definitely be back.

Quiet, Relaxing clean environment.
Pros:

I loved the walking paths thru the property & Creekside. Bikes available to ride to beach were a plus. Loved having a market very close to order meals, coffee & even enjoy entertainment on special notes.

Cons:

Internet was spotty in our room. Coffee at property was terrible.

Absolute perfect setting for my Girls Retreat
Pros:

I loved the borrow bikes! And the 24 hr tea/ coffee was amazing, as was the cozy lobby to congregate with our party. We also loved the fireplaces in the room! The bathrooms were HUGE and dreamy!

Cons:

The rooms were just a little musty smelling. But not a deal breaker.

Pros:

Very beautiful room w/ nice comfortable bed and chairs. Lovely bathroom as well.

Cons:

Unfortunately, there were no meal provided or pool/spas available. For the price, I would have thought there would have been something for our stay. Very nice place and loved the location.
