Pros:

The location was really nice. Smooth check-in and check-out.

Cons:

The rooms are old, many things were damaged (the curtains, the nightstands), the bathroom was not particularly clean, the bed was sliding away at every touch.
The breakfast food was good, but there was no separation between food serving utilities which made it messy - also an issue for meat vs vegiterian.

Ideaal voor een trip in Leiden
Pros:

Bijna direct naast het station is het ideaal voor een trip in Leiden, maar ook voor Haarlem of Amsterdam. Kamers zijn zeer ruim en fantastische badkamer. Ontbijt ook zeker aan te raden en het personeel is zeer behulpzaam

Ontbijt was lekker en veel keuze. Lovatie van top en parkeren kon bij het hotel (wel tegen vergoeding).

Cons:

Bedden waren heel zacht en daardoor niet zo vonfortabel. Douche was in het bad. Voor de prijs, zou je zeker een bad en douche apart verwachten..

Great hotel but staff need a lesson in how to be gracious hosts.
Pros:

We upgraded to a Golden Tulip executive room and were very pleased with the comfort and size.

Cons:

The staff was very disinterested in their guests. They were clearly not trained in hospitality and were quite surly. After travelling through Europe for 3 months, this was our last accommodation and by far the worst customer service experienced. This was in both the reception and the restaurant. It was a shame as the hotel itself was fabulous but let down by the staff.

Cons:

Uninteressiertes, schlecht ausgebildetes Personal an der Rezeption, meine Reservierung für das Weihnachtsmenu war nicht angekommen, , habe schlechten Tisch bekommen, am 2. Weihnachtsfeiertag war das Restaurant geschlossen - darüber hatte ich im vorhinein keine Information, es wurde kein Ersatzrestaurant empfohlen.
