This was an imposing property with nice grounds in a quiet location only 10 minutes from the centre of town. The room was comfortable with a large bed.
The room 106 was noisy being situated right over the kitchen where the extractor fan stayed on until after service finished. The doors squeaked loudly on the nearby bedrooms. There were no tea and coffee making facilités and no kettle.

Lovely manor house but the little bungalows we stayed in were not in the same class. Bed very comfortable.
Bungalows a bit grubby, could definitely have been cleaner.

Pretty chateau and grounds
The restaurant, although very attractive and convenient was expensive and food and service not great
restaurant in the cellar had a nice ambience and the food was quite good.
Poor quality towels and the bed had a rubber lined mattress cover which made it very hot. The Orangerie (where our bedroom was) was very tired looking with old furniture. The extractor fan did not work in the bathroom. The breakfast was satisfactory only.
Very good restaurant with food well presented and attentive staff. Also breakfast was good, served in the beautiful main building of the chateau. Parking was freely available next to the chateau. Nice grounds and quiet surroundings. Good Wifi everywhere.
Our room was fairly basic and lacking the character of the hotel as a whole. However it was quiet, comfortable and clean.

It was classic period French.
Resturant WOW it was not what we expected. Food exceptional. Staff exceptional especially the reception and Resturant staff (the only ones we came across but I feel this would apply to all staff!!)

The chateau has some really beautiful rooms and the staff was very nice.
There is room for improvement as the garden has potential.
We stayed in the bungalows. First impression we got was a bin outside that looked like it hasn't been emptied for quite a while. The bungalows themselves were okay but you could use some love and a deep cleaning.
What we found most disappointing was that there was no usage of the beautiful garden area. No flowers, no benches to sit outside and look at the Chateau, nothing.
The breakfast was not good. When I sleep at a Chateau I at least expect some eggs, fresh juice and a good coffee machine. Also the disappointment by the breakfast we could see in the other people's faces as well.
Sad that the potential is not used
