Le cadre et l’emplacement dans la ville
Le personnel était peu avenant.
Le petit déjeuner n’était pas vraiment à la hauteur du standing de l’hôtel.
Checking in
We were allocated the worst room in the hotel, above the kitchen smells and overlooking car park with constant noise of traffic on cobbles. Room was not that clean. For the money we paid - very, very disappointing. Despite emailing well in advance about restaurant - we never received communication back and when we tried to book on the day - it was fully booked. Overall - overpriced stay in a shabby room.

I felt there was a good healthy choice of food hot and and cold with a welcome addition of nuts and seeds
I really think it is unhygienic to have animals in the restaurant there were 2 very large dogs sprawled out over the floor by o r of the food areas making it difficult for guests to get by
If one of these dogs accidentally got stepped on and bit the guest who would be liable the hotel for allowing animals in or the owner not sure how that would play out in court

Poorly signed parking
We like staying at this hotel. It is in a great location to be able to walk over to the town or out to the ramparts ( the view from here is amazing). After a long drive it is an ideal stop over.
The staff are friendly and helpful. The room that we stayed in was comfortable. There were also very nice blankets in the room which gave a nice alternative to the quilt in the hot weather ( we just take the quilts out of the covers )The bar is very nice for a quiet drink. There is a lovely cat that seems to live here ( this was a bit tricky when we stayed with our dog).

L’extérieur du bâtiment
Intérieur de l’hôtel trop vieux et moquette avec énormément de taches dans la chambre et dans les parties communes.
Manque de professionnalisme pour la femme de ménage qui rentre allrs que nous avions affiché « ne pas déranger » sur la porte et après qui fait la chambre d’à côté en parlant très fort.
Quelques cheveux poils sur les draps et salle de bain.
Nous avions un mariage et nous sommes rentrés à 4h à l’hôtel et aucune lumière et la porte ne s’ouvrait pas… nous avons du appeler le standard en priant que quelqu’un nous ouvre… ce qui s’est passé mais avec une amabilité…
Le 4 étoiles est à revoir niveau propreté et vétusté…
