The staff were helpfull. The breakfast was about standard for this level of hotel. It was nice to see a weekly menu posted so we knew what to expect for our picky eating bunch. The room was a good size for 2 adults and 2 teens. The wet bar being a room divider was perfect. It was clean and the bathroom was clean.
The hotel itself is at a point where more work than between guest cleaning is needed. Yes the room felt clean but the carpet needs a good deep clean or replaced. The window and the curtains were technically functioning but would have felt unsafe if not for being on the 3rd floor. The beds were very firm. The covers were two flat sheets and a blanket made to look like a comforter. The blanket worn. The ac took a bit to cool off the room (it was a heat wave) and made odd noises at first; it hung in there.

I reserved a king bed. I was given a room with 2 queen beds. When I called down to ask about the beds and my reservation, I was told thats all we have left....were out of kings...

The pool definitely was crowded and the people that let there older kids swim did not tell them to be courteous of others.
Easy access to freeway, close to a Starbucks and grocery store. The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. Had a decent sized fridge and a microwave.
The rooms were very old and the beds hard with only a very thin old blanket, very similar to a bed sheet. When we arrived the room was at least 85/90 degrees inside. So hot it took your breath away when you walked in. The elevator was very sketchy and felt like it would break down at any moment. There were also empty bud light beer cans sitting in the bottom of the open closet. To me that immediately made us feel like the room was not cleaned properly.
From beginning to end, Sure Stay was exceptional. Professional/personable check-in. I felt welcome immediately. I am spoiled with our mattress at home and am thrilled to say, the bed was equally comfortable, a rarity when travelling to this degree.
Even though it is easy access right off the freeway, I didn't even notice any noise from the freeway.
The breakfast was impressive consisting of cold/hot cereals, yogurt, juices, tea, coffee, bagels/cream cheese, sausage, eggs, biscuit (which was awe-mazing!)
I had scheduled another booking down the road for another property in the area. When I arrived home, I canceled that one and booked with Sure Stay. Was I impressed? Completely.
The door was very hard to open the front desk had to help me.
Had ants in our room on the windows and beds. I requested for a new room but hotel couldn't accommodate so me and my family had to leave. I was told they would let GM know we decided not to stay and requested a refund. I spoke to there GM Luis a few days later and he said he was never aware of the situation. Per Luis in order to get a refund I would need to have booking reach out to them so he can initiate the refund. Since then its been back and forth from booking and the hotel regarding communication due to hotel having the wrong email listed for booking. I finally received word from booking last week and they are now saying the hotel isn't willing to refund me now. I've been trying to reach out to there GM on my days off from work and can never seem to reach him because he's never there for some reason. I need to hear from the GM himself on why he's not allowing the refund when we didnt even stay and have video evidence of pest in our room along with him acknowledging he will refund once booking reaches out to them. It's just been a frustrating situation overall I'm going to be fighting for my refund till the end because this is unjust.
Good location, right off I80 and Rocklin Rd. with several nearby restaurants.
Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
Parts of the hotel could definitely use some “refresh” or painting. Almost all all of the metal door jambs (frames around the doors) had multiple nicks in the paint.
Additionally, the wallpaper in the elevator should have been replaced years ago.
The floor of the elevator looked terrible with chinks of material missing near the doors.
check in was great / Room clean and beds comfortable
The room was off the lobby and the noise from guests in the lounge/dining area were loud and kept us up. I believe the staff did ask the guests to be quieter but it did not work. We turned on the AC to drown out the noise in order to sleep
Parking was excellent. Hotel check-in and check-out was efficient. I want to give a special mention to Mr. Luis C. at the Reception Desk who was so friendly and genuinely interested in the guests well being.
Housekeeping was not done, and I’m not sure if it required a special request or whether our room was overlooked. Our room was close to the interstate highway, and it was noisy especially when trying to sleep.
