Great area.
Bartender spilled my cocktail didn't offer to remake or top up.
Bathroom tap so stiff that you had to use force so then water went every wear.
Breakfast was cold so had to ask for a freshly made item.
wonderful service from reception staff. Huge bed in a large comfortable room. Will always stay here when I visit Cardiff

The hotel was lovely and clean, with a spacious room and bathroom.
The pubs/clubs are right next door and will keep you awake unless you are joining them of course or have earplugs !
I would have joined them but had to be up early unfortunately, they were having a great time !
A bit of a Karen comment ... but would have been nice to have had a sachet of hot chocolate, along with all the herbal tea and coffee when I was losing the will to live in the early hours.
Sorry to be negative and if I was out partying myself then I would stay again for sure.
Total stay experience was wonderful. The staff is exceptionally helpful and accommodating. The hotel location is central to and walkable for everything (castle, shopping, restaurants, etc), plus is clean and well maintained. The room is easily accessible, comfortable, and located within the hotel for a quiet stay.

On the whole my experience was great
But the bathroom floor needs to be properly cleaned.
It was ok but the air con in the room wasn’t working. I reported this and someone did something (and visited my room), told me it was fixed but it wasnt. A warm and uncomfortable night. It wasn’t cheap to stay here so not very impressed.
An unclean bedroom that had a stock of food for someone who has stayed on a permanent basis. Raises with reception, nothing happened not comments, nothing!! Disgraceful!!
