Just one night, passing through good experience
Pros:

Very elegant. Breakfast was good although there was no meat. Only stayed one night, just passing through

10/10 recommend staying here.
Pros:

Loved the location and price of the hotel room. This was booked for a last minute trip but the price was reasonable and the location is in an area my husband and I normally stay when we come to Amarillo.

Cons:

The hotel is a little on the dated side but it adds charm and comfort. The rooms do look like they could use an update but it does not take away from the comfort of staying here.

Deep cleaning and widespread repairs needed

Friendly staff, clean, hotel with character.

Cons:

Deep cleaning and major repairs required. Given a room in serious need of repairs (particularly bathroom floor tiles that were cracked and shifting) as a pet friendly room. Breakfast was minimal and sub-par for a basic hotel breakfast.

It is an older hotel, so the paint is chipping and the carpet is worn. But it wasn't a big issue.

Cons:

Bugs and spiders everywhere and especially in the bathroom! Staff took no accountability for anything!! Took a shower and water leaked everywhere and my husband fell and tweaked his back trying to wipe up the floor!
