Riesiges Hotel mit vielen Annehmlichkeiten

Gigantisches Hotel mit vielen Läden, Restaurants, Bars, Spa, Friseur, etc, Das Zimmer war für japanische Verhältnisse relativ groß, gut ausgestattetes Bad, sauber, Personal landesüblich sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Gym wa top ausgestattet. Sehr gutes Frühstück, allerdings sehr strikte Essenszeiten, kurz vor 10 Uhr wird alles abgeräumt.
Gute Lage inmitten eines Parkes und Blick auf den Tokio Tower. Die nächste U-Bahnstation ist ca, 10 Minuten Fußweg entfernt, man ist relativ schnell im Zentrum.

Cons:

Mein Sohn durfte wegen seiner Tätowierungen nicht in das Spa. Das hat bekanntermassen in Japan kulturelle Gründe. Nur ist das in einem internationalen Hotel mit zahlreichen westlichen Touristen doch etwas anachronistisch, zumal es in anderen Hotels durchaus erlaubt war.
Für meinen persönlichen Geschmack ist das Hotel zu groß und irgendwie unpersönlich, aber das ist natürlich geschmackssache.

Total waste of money and poor service stay anywhere else and save your money

Cons:

We stayed in 8 hotels in the 3 weeks in Japan and all were perfect except this one which was by far the most expensive and was designed to end our trip on a high , this hotel is a disaster and a rip off . Ridiculous prices , took over 1 hour to check in, don’t bother buying the breakfast we did for 4 days but after waiting for 1 hour at 7am for a mediocre breakfast we didn’t even bother waiting for the next 3 days as far too crowded. They are also the only hotel in Japan that we stayed at that automatically add 15% service charge for the poor service you receive. The final straw was that the sky bar opens at 5pm however even as a guest you have to pay to be there unless you sit at the 10 bar stools which fill up in 1 minute. The hotel is so tired , needs completely renovating , the staff don’t care , the manager did nothing when we complained . Avoid spending $750 a night on this awful place

Wouldn’t go back
Cons:

The staff were not that friendly for a five star hotel. Breakfast was a real drama. We missed it twice because the queues were too long and we couldn’t wait for thirty minutes for a table as we had a day trip planned.

During my stay they insisted one of my children had no breakfast allowance (despite my entire booking including breakfast? We booked through booking.com so I don’t know what happened there but they said breakfast was included) so staff took that very seriously and hovered at our breakfast table every day checking that my child didn’t eat or drink anything. I thought this was very petty and sad for a five star hotel & it really put a sour feeling in the air.

The service from check in and beyond did not feel 5 star. Everyone was too worried about the ‘rules’ and forgot to give nice customer service. There was certainly no service with a smile here sadly.

Quiet, spacious and clean rooms, very comfortable beds.

The park with beautiful boarders.
Possibility to go running around the park.

Cons:

No good option to eat some dessert in the evening.
Paying separately for the spa and the bar at floor 33.
