Monsuau Cala D'Or Hotel - Adults Only

Sauberes Zimmer, freundliches Personal, Service, trotz später Ankunft in der Nacht haben wir noch etwas zu essen auf das Zimmer bekommen! Sowohl beim Frühstück & Abendessen ist für jeden etwas dabei! Auf Wünsche wird eingegangen.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit gepflegter Poolanlage, tollem Gym und schöner Rooftop-Bar. Ein Indoor-Pool wäre für kühlere Tage noch das i-Tüpfelchen. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig, frisch und lecker – startet allerdings erst um 07:30 Uhr. Die Betten sind groß und sehr bequem. Einziger Schwachpunkt: das Internet ist leider schwach.

The hotel was lovely but we were disappointed with the rooms. It was an expensive holiday and the standard rooms are quite basic - a shower in a glass cubicle with a toilet next to it. The basin is actually in the room itself. I would expect a lovely complete bathroom for the price.

We would stay again but don’t book a standard room.

The spa treatment centre is not good. You expect a certain ambience in the rooms and reception area. My friend and I both had treatments where we were shown into a small white room with bright lights which were just switched off at the start and switched on again at the end.

It should be a beautiful experience and it was not. The room I was in had bubbling paint and rust patches on the ceiling

The pool area, breakfast and restaurant were lovely. We would stay again but upgrade our rooms and avoid the spa

Zimmer mit Swim-up, einfach toll und empfehlenswert/ zuvorkommendes Personal/ Halbpension, abwechslungsreiches Angebot, man kann zwischen 5 unterschiedlichen Speisen und das bei drei Gängen auswählen, buchten gut zu Fuß zu erreichen:)

We had an overall great stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious, modern, and very clean – housekeeping was especially thorough every day, which made a big difference. Breakfast offered plenty of variety, and the pool areas were a definite highlight: lots of space, and we never struggled to find a sunbed, which is rare!

The rooftop is absolutely stunning. However, when we went up it was very quiet, almost a little too quiet. There was entertainment on some days, but we didn’t know when, and may have missed the schedule if it was shared somewhere.

The only slight downside was that the hotel seemed a bit unsure of its vibe. Some days it was tranquil and serene, and then suddenly there’d be a very loud live DJ by the pool that didn’t really match the mood – most people seemed to tune it out.

In terms of activities, there were a few exercise options like HIIT, stretching, and personal training. It felt like a missed opportunity not to offer more variety – yoga, Pilates, or aqua aerobics would have been really popular.

That said, the comfort, cleanliness, and facilities were excellent, and we’d still happily return – ideally with a bit more clarity on the atmosphere the hotel is going for.

Staff were excellent throughout, so polite and welcoming.
The atmosphere was great, could get a sunbed round the pool any time of day (no need to reserve sunbeds)
The breakfast was excellent, great selection and could always get a table.

The rooftop terrace bar and restaurant was spot on, such a good vibe. Live music from Friday-Sunday.
Couples of all ages, groups of friends, caters for all groups.

Would definitely go back again.

Marina is a 5 min drive or 25-30 min walk and has loads of restaurant options as well.

Order an airport transfer through the hotel in advance and was roughly 80 euros each way which was cheaper than private transfers.

Es ist sehr eine sehr ruhige anlage, mit vielfältigem und leckeren Frühstück.

Tolles Hotel in ruhiger Lage mit angenehmem Ambiente, sehr freundlichem Personal und umfangreichem Frühstücksbuffet. Absolut empfehlenswert ist die Halbpension, das Abendessen ist sehr vielfältig, toll arrangiert und ein echter Genuss. Absoluter Tipp!

La chambre est très bien et propre
Le personnel très professionnel et agréable.
Le petit déjeuner au top un choix très complet en sucré ou salé.
Salle de sport très bien équipé.
Emplacement correct, 5mn à pied du petit centre de Cala Ferrera mais à 20mn pied de la plage et du centre de Cal d'or.
Petit bémol le stationnement : il y a apparemment 8 places au total autant dire quasi rien vu le nombre de chambre.
Je recommande sans hésitation cet hôtel.

My friend and me had a stay of 4 nights. The service was really good, we had a nice welcome and a lovely waiter Carlos. The hotel is beautiful and topped our expectations. The walk to the beach is not too long and there are enough parking areas near the hotel. The hotel gym is really well equipped.

Dieses Hotel ist mit Vorsicht zu beachten! Auf den Bildern alles wunderschön, auch die Bewertungen gut. Die Realität ist eine Andere, wir haben nach dem ersten Abend Essen die Halbpension storniert, es wurde nicht nur kein Buffet angeboten sonder auch wirklich kein gutes Essen.
Das a la carte Essen war nicht seriös ! Das Frühstück hat keinen 4 Sterne Standard, Kaffe und O Saft schmeckten wie Wasser, kein Sekt zum Frühstück. Unser Zimmer war wie eine Schuhschachtel mit abgetrenntem Bade und Toilettenbereich mit Pressspanplatten. Dieses Hotel hat keine 4 plus Sterne verdient ! Nach 3 Tagen haben wir das Hotel gewechselt !

Bra fräscht hotell för vuxna med trevlig personal. I uppstart av säsongen serveras middag i frukostmatsalen. Inte så mysigt. Maten varierande, blandar peruanskt, marockanskt, italienskt, franskt, spanskt kök som tema på kvällarna med varierande kvalitet. Spanskt bra.
Helt omöjligt att skjuta fram utcheckning från 11 till 12 även mot betalning.

A lovely quiet adults only hotel. Beautiful room that was kept immaculately clean. We didn’t have a chance to use the swimming pool area or restaurant outside of breakfast time, but it looked clean and inviting. Our room was in the main block, we did note that had we been over the road in the rooms facing onto the road it wouldn’t have been as nice - the balconies for those rooms face right onto the road. Breakfast great with a huge selection of food and drink choices. Whilst parking is free there is literally room for about 4/5 cars just round the corner from the hotel, we weren’t ever able to use those spaces but there is a quiet side street just behind the hotel that we used. Wouldn’t recommend Cala D’Or at all (super surprised to find it was not at all like we expected, really poor dining options, overcrowded beaches, full of kids fair rides and bouncy castles) but this hotel is a perfect choice if you are needing to be in the area.

Staff was very friendly and cordial. Hotel had a modern feel, but not overdone. Food and the amount of options were amazing.
