Super Comfortable bed, clean room and excellent check in staff. Great location and inlet
Dated property.
Located on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean, the view from our room was OUTSTANDING! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. It literally is still being built, so, very new and very clean. While it is still in the final stages of construction, the work did not interfere with a very pleasant stay. It is located right next door to Snappers restaurant, one of our favorites, and very conveniently located for anything in the northern Keys.
They had a full house, and parking while available, was tight, and seemed like an after thought. We did park there and everything was fine, so, not that bad. Unfortunately one of the nights we stayed there was about the coldest it gets in the Keys. The room was in the low 60’s and the heat would not come on. They were unable to get the heat on for us, but brought us a very thick and warm quilt that kept us warm and cozy in bed all night.
The location was good. The beds and pillows were comfortable.
We were unable to plug in a hairdryer in the bathroom as it looked like someone had plugged the plugs with caulk. One of the towels in the bathroom had stains on it, and the bathmats they used were thread bear.
Location and the view
No pool towels left
emplacement correct pour un jour en vue de s'orienter vers key west
petit déjeuner correct
literie moyenne
très bruyant, les cloisons doivent être fines car on entend tout se qui se passe chez le voisin
Absolut schöne Lage, grosses Zimmer.
Keine Beanstandungen.
Breakfast was good
The surroundings was a bit untidy
Bed was clean and comfy. Carpet could do with a clean. Bathroom was very tired and bath/shower tile area grubby. On check in the woman had the flu and kept blowing her nose while handling our credit card. With the result my husband also caught it. She shouldn’t have been working on reception
Great location with nice view of the ocean. Having restaurant next door a plus. Free bicycles and kayak was a plus.
Continental breakfast was good. Waffle maker a plus. Coffee was hot and good. Parking was adequate.
One night the fire alarm was pulled by some idiot not the hotel’s fault, but no onsite hotel person. It took over 30 minutes to get this excessively loud alarm shut down. They couldn’t find keys to unlock the bicycles. After more than an hour they finally decided to cut the lock off. They danish and muffins they put out for breakfast were stale. Not willing to let us check in before 3:00.
This is our second year returning to this resort. It’s the perfect first stop on a Keys roadtrip. The staff is always so nice and they went above and beyond during our stay. The rooms are clean with the most comfortable beds. It’s a bit rough around the edges in spots, specifically the washrooms but it’s a classic Florida motel vibe. Would recommend the room with a screened in porch. Has a very light continental breakfast. Some guests were under the impression that a kitchenette was in the room but there is just a mini fridge and coffee maker. Don’t go here for the outdoor amenities or pool area, this would be the only negative on the property.
I understand that this is "The Keys". However, there needs to be some general maintenance and upkeep. The elevator, although functioning, seems to be on its last few trips up and down. Just buy some stainless cleaner and fine steel wool and clean it for goodness sakes! The A/C system had a loud screeching sound and had to be left off (luckily the weather was cool). The screened porches on the second floor King "suites" resemble cages! (I should have looked for more pictures before booking). The kayaks need to hit the recycle bin! Send someone to Walmart or order some on Amazon for a few hundred bucks! The breakfast offerings are pretty weak... an employee told us that the food supply arrives on Fridays and gets depleted by Tuesday.... It was nice to have the restaurant/bar next door within walking distance. The bed was comfortable, but the building is poorly constructed. We could hear everything from units above and beside.... even something as simple as turning on a sink faucet. I get it ....it's "the Keys", but it's not deserving of the Wyndham name... step it up, clean it up, fix it up...or sell it to The Days Inn!
The view was nice.
The rooms were not updated. Our room had an awful smell.
Is a very nice relaxing place
They have everything you need to enjoy yourself around
I definitely recommend
