A beautiful old building with superb spacious rooms. Staff were amazing, facilities and location excellent. Happy hour was a real bonus!

The quaint feel.. Calm vibe. Location was perfect. Parking was good too. The Continental Breakfast was everything anyone would need.
If I have to find 1 thing it was our room was above kitchen and was a little noisy in the early morning.

We were in a sweet little house just behind the main building. It was well equipped and very comfortable, and included a dedicated parking spot, which was very convenient given the scarcity of on-street parking in some parts of Charlottetown. Absolutely ideal location for walking around town.
The screens on two of the windows were in a poor state, and we were unable to leave windows open at night because of them.

Iconic building close to Charlottetown restaurants and bars and good access to nice scenery, as well as great for parking. Good base to drive out and see other parts of PEI from.
It is what it is - the historic element of it means it’s a little dated and tired but also part of its ‘charm’. It was good enough as a base to stay and travel out but it wasn’t the perfect stay to be there longer than a couple of days.
Excellent service. Great staff. Amazing location. On site parking. Cocktail hour at 5. Free cookies at 3pm. Breakfast included.

The location, atmosphere, and room were great.
The only weak point was breakfast. The available buffet items were adequate (barely), but the seating arrangements were weird - sitting in the big armchairs with breakfast on the small, low coffee tables. But, on balance, I was happy to put up with the breakfast.
The breakfast selection was very good. Sitting in club chairs and eating off of coffee tables/end tables was not ideal.
The hotel was clean and comfortable but for the cost per night, I was expecting something extremely lavish. Lavish was not the word to describe this hotel. Extremely overpriced.
