Wir hatten im Zimmer 173 ein Elektro-Cheminée, das war sehr schön und gemütlich. Das Zimmer war sehr gross und modern, das Bad mit begehbarer grosser Dusche und alles sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Um 17 Uhr gab‘s in der Lobby ein Glas Wein zur Happy Hour offeriert.

It was quaint, comfortable, very well appointed and very good value.
The staff were exceptionally helpful, from showing us exactly where to park, to booking our ferry journey for us.
The complimentary glass of wine, beer or soft drink from 5-6pm was a nice touch, bringing guests together from the various buildings that make up the hotel rooms and suites.
We would definitely recommend and return if ever back on PEI.

We loved our stay at The Great George Hotel. Its proximity to the harbour and boardwalk, as well as local historic buildings made it perfect for exploring the area. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of healthy options to choose from, including gluten-free and plant-based. Evening cups of tea and fresh-baked cookies beside the huge fireplace in the lobby were the perfect wind-down at the end of our busy days. All of the staff were helpful and friendly. Overall, the atmosphere felt welcoming and warm, with tasteful antique yet comfortable furniture and decor that worked well with the hotel's special history.

外気が5度の時に、最上階角部屋で、寒かったので、調整に来てもらいましたが、冷房にセットされて、気が付かず、夜、とても寒かったです。３日目に、ブランケットをお願いして、再度スタッフに来てもらい、調整してもらいようやく少し温度が上がりましたが。風邪を引いてしまいました。
The hotel was elegant, great location and we loved that laundry facilities were available.
The restaurant was good. Our server, Anastasia was very good.

Breakfast - although it was distressing to have to dress a one year old and two year old to leave leave our condo for breakfast.
I did not like the fact that our reservation which was done months in advance was not sent over by Booking.com and The Great George did not have our reservation when we arrived with two you children. It took four hours to check in. The manager was the one who found us a place.They had no record-of our reservation even though we had confirmation email etc.said Booking.com did not sent it to them.
Asked for late check out due to marathon by an hour and they said no. I arrived back from race at 10:45 and was rushed away by 11:00.
Great location, nice atmosphere, free breakfast and complementary wine or beer from 4-6. For an additional charge they do offer afternoon tea.

They had us wait until the 4PM check in time although other guests arrived early after us and got their room before us. Not sure what was up with that.
写真通りの雰囲気でとても落ち着いた空間でした。だからといって設備が古いということもなく、清潔かつ臭いもなく、北米のホテルとしては珍しく快適に過ごせました。トップ画像にもあるロビーでは無料のコーヒーコーナーや有料のバーなど、ゆっくり過ごせる工夫が整っています。
朝食は日本のビュッフェを想像しているとやや品数が少なく感じるかもしれません。ただ伝統的なコンチネンタルブレックファストはこんなもんという気もします。毎日メニューが変わるので、飽きはしません。

Personnel très courtois et plusieurs petits plus agréables (biscuits maison en après-midi, bière ou vin inclus au 5 à 7 en semaine, …)
Quelques équipements/meubles un peu vieux/désuets dans la chambre, mais quand même très confortable.
