It was comfortable. All staff are efficient. We booked 2 rooms and upgraded one room. Breakfast and dinner was awesome. Near at the train station. We will surely come back.

Absolutely amazing hotel. Hotel grounds are stunning with lots of places to choose to sit. Pool is lovely with a poolside bar. Staff are fantastic can’t do enough for you and they are all sooo lovely. Breakfast is lovely with loads to choose from. Dinner is beautiful it’s a 3 course meal with lots of options and the food is delicious. The hotel is few minutes from hotel which gives you lots of options to see more places. Booked a couple of trips from hotel which were amazing. Italy was more than I expected a truly amazing place. Definitely recommend

We have just had a most wonderful stay at Hotel Alpha. This is a classy hotel. The grounds of the hotel are absolutely beautiful with options of poolside sunbeds or sunbeds in an enclosed garden area. Poolside bar and outdoor terrace for lunch. Lots of comfy couches scattered around the lemon/orange grove offer a quiet space for reading or a nice drink. The evening choices are indoor or outdoor restaurant. There was music some nights in the grove. The Four Notes band were amazing. The food was excellent throughout our stay. We had gorgeous steaks, pizzas, spaghetti etc. Our room was lovely, with a nice balcony overlooking the pool. The hotel is just a 5 minute walk from the train station with connections to Sorrento for €1..50. The really exceptional element to this hotel is the staff. Without exception and for the entire week, the staff were warm, friendly, extremely helpful and professional. Special shout out to Maria in reception and to Erika in the restaurant who just made us feel so welcome and were extremely kind and helpful. Thank you guys. Would highly recommend.

Very quite good service nice people

The hotel is in a nice location. Santagnello is a much quieter and more relaxing part of sorrento. It has a friendly family feel. We found the beach club La Marinella to be great. We have a 15 month old and spent 2 days there. The sea is calm, lots of families and well looked after. It's easy to get a train to sorrento from Santagnello and only a 5-10 minute walk to the train station.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and made up for some of the rough edges of the hotel.

Breakfast was good, food options by the pool for lunch were good and reasonably priced.

The accommodation was excellent and the staff were all friendly and there to help provide the best experience.

What an amazing hotel, 30 minutes walk into the centre of Sorrento, although with all the great photo opportunities of the dramatic coast line, it was a little longer! The staff on concierge and the restaurant are extremely welcoming and attentive. We stayed on a half board basis and the restaurant food quality was outstanding. The risottos were wonderful! Our rooms were nice and beds comfortable. All in all, we would highly recommend this hotel for location, food quality and friendly staff. We hope to be back.

First drop off from the airport with a delayed Jet2 afternoon flight to Naples.

Accomodation was half board and as it was late the hotel saved some cold meats and cheese for us. We were offered bottled water and was VERY suprised and angry to be charged 4€, which we had to sign for and it goes straight on your bill.

Got "upgraded" to the annexe which they call the "Villa", seperate to the Hotel and ok, apart from the traffic noise (scooters and bikes making a racket), had to sleep with the aircon on to drown the noise out. The walls are also very thin and the door didn't close properly, so sound proofing was poor, and you can hear all sorts going on!

Breakfast was boring, with some unidentifiable stuff and lots of cakes from previous nights, which nobody touched. Nice choice of coffees from a menu that are included, and served by the lovely staff. I was happy enough with the rest on offer, but it could be better by offering less and concentrating on the quality. Bizzarely bottled water is free for brekafast - typical Italian way of doing things.

If you expect an all inclusive dining experience, don't. We enjoyed the food it was varied in the evenings, but strangely not much pasta, and Pizza only once. Good choice of fish meals and happliy no chips with anything, it felt authetic Italian and not typical tourist food.

Drinks are expensive in the hotel, 6€ for a large beer with your meal, or at the pool bar, and a bottle of wine for 30-40€, bit of a joke when the supermarket 5 mins away & sells for a fraction of the price which you can enjoy on your noisy balcony.

The grounds are lovely with the flowers, lemon groves and nice pool area (although the pool was freezing) even just outside on the main road it has beautiful roses and flowers along the central reservation.

Good base for exploring, with Saint Agnello station a handy 5 mins away, but a good 40 minute walk into Sorrento itself, we got a bit bored with the walk after long days out exploring from Sorrento. But found the bus and train a bit unpredictable at times (rail strikes, overcrowding etc) and its quite a nice walk by the coast, the other route on the main road not so much.

I reccommend this hotel for older clientile, although they have to negotiate quite a few steps from the road to reception. We our in our late 50's and it was fine, but would in hindsight of forgone the pool and stayed in Sorrento itself near the station and ferries.

Very kind and helpful staff. Close to train station and only a few minutes by train to Sorento.

We came here for my wife’s birthday in June for 7 nights absolutely loved the hotel great food , central location , rooms are spotless live music , and a small pool that was never crowded , massimo and all of the hotel staff were really friendly and can’t do enough for you , we will definitely be coming back again and I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay
