My husband and I stayed at the Lord Camden Inn recently. The hotel is incredibly clean. The staff is incredibly friendly. The breakfast that is included wonderful. The hotel is right on Main Street very convenient to all of the amenities in Camden.
Positives: The hotel's proximity to the ice cream stand and the valet parking service.
Everything else: The hotel staff do only the bare minimum. When I asked for assistance with making a reservation at a restaurant (other than the one the hotel recommends), I was simply told, "Call them yourself."
The room faces the street and is not well insulated from noise. Truck traffic starts as early as 5:00 a.m. There is no effective way to block the sunlight from entering the room.
The mattress is old and uncomfortable. The room was not clean. One of the drinking glasses had visible lipstick marks on it. The balcony was covered with dust, including the railing and the air-conditioning unit.
Overall, the hotel does not provide good value for the price.
Stayed in Room 410 which was an excellent room with a balcony that looks over the town. It also has a wide view of the bay. Staff were very attentive. I recommend using the parking valet which always took great care of us. Self parking is also relatively easy and a short walk away.
I thought the staff was very nice and helpful and appreciated the location. IAlso the cookies were a nice touch.
The rug in the room needs replacing it's old and seem unkempt. The extractor fan in the bathroom was very noisy. The walls are also very thin we could hear the people upstairs and it was waking us up.
I just expected a more upgraded room.
Our family loved staying at Lord Camden Inn. It was cozy and in a great location. From the time I booked the hotel until we checked in, they reached out to me to offer assistance with everything!
They think of everything. The rooms and beds were comfy. The AC was blasting when we walked in, so we could make it nice and cold for sleeping. The shower was strong and hot. The grapefruit infused water in the lobby was delicious, and there was plain filtered water in the room in a carafe that you could fit in the fridge and refill at the front desk. The breakfast was superior, with many options (GF bread available). The location is perfect. OK, the parking thing is a bit odd, but it works, and the lot is convenient. The view from the balconies that face the river/creek is lovely.

Property was a little tired. Throw pillows were deflated. The little porch area was not clean. Lots of trucks going by.
