You can not find anything good at property
Reception area had a bad smell , we checked in room and found a bed bug and the bed , the bathroom was dirty , lots of hair on the floor and black mould on silicons
No food at all. A run down hotel
Good location and parking, bedding was clean, towels clean. Bed was very springy but comfy, slept well. Shower powerful and hot.
It was tired and grubby, lots of black mould around the bath and tiles, chipped paintwork, toilet stained brown, curtains hanging off the rail, window was dirty, patio was dirty, flower tub had litter and dog ends in it. Could write in the dust on the tv. Communal areas tired, worn carpets. Stale smoke aroma.
Close to motorway. Convenient.
Disgusting hygiene. Floor was filthy, old chips found on the floor and filled with dust. Pillow had dust and a dead moth on it. Headboard was filled with dust. Very unclean and uncomfortable place to stay. Toilet seat was also dirty. Staff did clean it upon request however all the other rooms are the same unfortunately as we had booked 3 rooms in total for extended family. Would never recommend due to how dirty it was.

Could have been informed about the wedding party celebrations that ended at 2.30am that i could hear in my room, also the window was broken and wouldn't close , room 31.

On arrival at approximately 11:30pm on Friday, 27th February 2026, I attended the property with my children (8 and 13) after receiving confirmation of my booking, including a room number and key code. After travelling late at night and expecting access to our reserved accommodation, I entered the room allocated to us — only to discover that someone was already lying in the bed.
The staff were unaware there was someone already in the room and they refused to believe me.
The hotel staff showed a complete lack of care and accountability. Due to safety concerns at the hotel I chose to find alternative accommodation rather than to stay. The hotel advised me that booking.com would handle the refund. I called booking.com and was eventually offered £12 compensation. I then emailed the hotel directly and they have failed to respond. I sent a further email to booking.com who replied to say that whilst they agree with my request for a refund the hotel are refusing and suggested I write a review.
Massive place to stay. Rooms were very spacious with pretty decent internet.
Lady at the front desk struggled to understand us. We asked what time the kitchen closes for dinner and she eventually walked us practically into the kitchen and told the staff we wanted to eat, to which the chef said the kitchen was closed for to an event.
There was also some random Bobby pin hair clips in the bathroom and a grain of rice in one of the twin beds

Bathroom, bedroom, doors walls, floor, windows, desks,corridors floors and doors, I was afraid to touch washing my hand "thousands" times for how long we we're there.
I've booked a room attending to an event and the plan was to remain over the night but at the end we decided to just return to our home on the middle of the night due to too much dirtiest bedroom.
