Everything. No AC on the hottest day of the year and was promised by the staff it would 100% be fixed that evening only to have to stay awake all night with the door open as we had 3 young children, just to get a slight bit of reprieve from tge heat but was still unbearable. Only booked as it said it had AC when booking

Cheap, dirty and uncomfortable
Pros:

Located close to Gatwick Airport. Friendly reception staff.

Cons:

Room needs a deep clean. Missing kettle. Balcony door didn’t close properly. Mattress was lumpy. Owners need to spend some money on the place or close it down.

Reasonable for the money
Pros:

Good location, welcoming staff and plenty of parking. Decent wifi and reasonable sized bed.

Cons:

Very tired and in need of updating. TV lacking regular channels. Shower was very weak. Bedside light switch was broken on one side.

Poor but cheap

It was in a convenient location and it was cheap

Cons:

The building and room was very tired looking. In the corridors there were cobwebs and generally looks ramshackle. The room and bathroom look to just get a wipe round with a cloth, I suspect there is no ‘deep’ clean although it is so run down you probably wouldn’t notice. The towel rail was on for about 3 hours on a very warm night, there is no way of turning it off. There is an aircon unit in the room but you cannot operate(system says centrally controlled). The bed was ok although the under sheet didn’t fit. It was very cheap so if all you need is a bed for the night and you aren’t expecting much then it will just about suffice.

The location for Reigate was good. It once would have been a prime hotel. Best avoided

Cons:

The hotel staff were disinterested, the room was dirty and unkempt. There was no toilet paper and no hot water at all. We had cups and teabags but no kettle. The beds had big painful springs in and were noisy and uncomfortable. There was absolutely nothing about the room that was acceptable. The rooms were not fit to be for paying guests more like a place to rest if you had no other option..

Terrible worst hotel ever

Absolutely terrible experience from start to finish. The customer service was awful, and the receptionist was rude and completely unhelpful when I raised concerns.
The room was in a shocking condition, with empty beer cans left behind, exposed nails creating a safety hazard, and mould visible around the room. It was dirty, unsafe, and nowhere near an acceptable standard for paying guests.
To make matters worse, I was told that if I submitted a refund request through Booking.com, the hotel would approve a full refund. I did exactly that, only for them to go back on their word. Instead of a full refund, I received just £3, which felt like an insult.
Poor customer service, poor cleanliness, and broken promises. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and genuinely question how it is still open.
