Dreadful. I remember when the Bridge House was very good, sadly no longer.
Pros:

The ladies at Reception were cheerful and welcoming. The fresh towels & bed linen in my room were clean. Parking was free fdor guests if you register on a screen at Reception.

Cons:

Leaving the reception lobby area, to reach my room, the hotel is revealed to be shabby and neglected, in need of a refurb and 'relaunch' ; the last relaunch was in 2008 stated on a plaque at the main entrance. My single room at the farthest point from reception was barely adequate. The sprung mattress on the bed was I suspect too old for comfort, and seemed to protest when I lay down. I am only average weight, approx 90kgs. The general appearance of the room decor was well used, and needed to be refreshed. The en suite was small which was about OK, but needed a deep clean. The shower cubicle not a recent fixture, was grubby with limescale in all the grout between tiles, and on the door. The door only opened about 60degrees before touching the wall. The floor needed a good scrub and perhaps reseal for bathroom use. The towel rail /radiator had a 'very hot' warning sign, but was always cold. The air con/heating system was off, and the wall mounted controls were not working. I have stayed in many 'budget' hotels over the years, but the Bridge House own website describes it as luxury, which is not the case. The photos on Booking.com do not show the reality. Just because a single night stay is a good value price is no excuse for poor standards.

Worst Hotel in England
Pros:

Nothing ,the place should be shut down. Its dirty and disgusting. Do not be suprised if you pick up an infection from here

Everything, everywhere was dirty, staff did not give a damn. Rude ,toilet was covered in piss, room was dirty everywhere, bed collapsed in middle. Walked straight back out and went and booked into a premier inn

Say here on the regular- cheap and comfortable. Rooms can be really nice especially the balconies and one bedroom apartment.

Cons:

Everything. The bed was old and uncomfortable. The bathroom was old and dirty. There were splashes of something unknown on the doors. Nothing was dusted. The carpet was thin and smelt, the painwork on doors and balcony was chipped and stripped off. The paint on the walls wasnt thick enough and you could see the mould through it. Lighting was terrible. And on the tv the last person had been watching porn. Id hate to say what was on the sheets.

It was depressing, smelly and unsanitary.
