Wasn’t expecting much for my £48.00 per night but room not worth half that amount!

Bed was very lumpy ( mattress needs replacing )
Very poor water pressure in shower
Toilet area very dirty ( dirt on top of every dado rail/skirting that has been there for years)
Brown “scum” in toilet that when flushed would reappear again in minutes

Horrible bedrooms
Pros:

Located on nice field.

Cons:

hotel and the bedrooms extremely dirty.
Bathroom, bedroom, doors walls, floor, windows, desks,corridors floors and doors, I was afraid to touch washing my hand "thousands" times for how long we we're there.
I've booked a room attending to an event and the plan was to remain over the night but at the end we decided to just return to our home on the middle of the night due to too much dirtiest bedroom.

Disappointing and cancelled
Cons:

We cancelled our booking after looking at horrendous reviews on cleanliness standards. We drove past a few days before and it was unfortunately run down, in need of updates and out of date information being advertised.

The front of house staff members were quite odd and didnt seem to know much. They also wanted to add on extras and we felt it was misleading from when we booked.

We cancelled our booking, received no refund unfortunately.

Worrying, if it had been refundable I would have left.
Pros:

The member of staff I complained to when shown to the "appartment" that turns out to be a damp smelly shed was helpful and moved me to a reasonable room.

Cons:

The bed had a clean sheet on it, which barely covered the surface of the mattress and moved during the night so I was sleeping on a bare matress in the end. This must have happened to other people and seemed grim. The spoons were dirty and the duvet cover was ripped at the top.
