The staff were very friendly and eager to assist in making our stay as comfortable as possible. Concerns with our room were addressed and rectified in a timely manner. Florasol Hotel isn't a fancy hotel but the rooms and common areas are very clean and easy to navigate. Our room had a very comfortable bed and couch with extra bedding if necessary. The kitchen was stocked with items needed should you decide to do cooking or simply have a little snack and drink. Both the breakfast and dinner provided lots of choices for guests with freshly made coffee selections on demand. The hotels pool was a nice option to sit and lounge on one of the many loungers along with umbrellas with the option to order food or drinks that were brought out to the pool area for you to enjoy by the wonderful restaurant staff. Florasol Residences location was superb with a 2 minute walk to a grocery store, souvenir shops, sightseeing office and rental car facility. It also offers a great selection of restaurants all within walking distance along with a beautiful facility offering pools, snack bar, access to the ocean, and rental of lounge chairs and umbrellas.
The hotel could use updating both in the common areas along with the rooms. The biggest must is to equip the rooms with air conditioning units. We had to keep the bedroom ceiling fan working all night to try to cool the room down as well as keeping the sliding doors open all night. The family room didn't offer a fan so we relied on a breeze by keeping the sliding door open which didn't always give us any respite from the hot humid evenings. The downfall of keeping the sliding doors open is being woken by cars and motorcycles driving by but the worst was being woken from our sleep on multiple occasions by the neighbour who lives in the building yelling at her husband which continued for some time leaving us wide awake and unable to fall back to sleep. Upon check, there was confusion by the staff regarding occupancy which I had emailed directly to the hotel that we would have 3 individuals but they did not make the update on our reservation which then resulted in having to pay additional funds for the 3rd person and as well as not having the couch ready with linens. I would also recommend that the hotel make their final billing more transparent. Upon checkout we were told that we owed additional funds but were not provided a break down of the charges and had to trust that their amount was accurate. We checked in at approximately 1:30 AM and would have appreciated bottles of water in the fridge after a long day of traveling.

השהות במלון הייתה מאכזבת מאוד. המלון ישן ולא מתוחזק, והניקיון ברמה נמוכה ביותר. השילוב של חדרים ללא מזגן יחד עם מיטות לא נוחות הפך את השהות לבלתי נסבלת פשוט אי אפשר לישון שם בכלל. לא מומלץ

Bagno della camera ristrutturato nuovo.
Camere un po' datate, per esempio le lenzuola erano macchiate per l'usura.
Colazione dolce da migliorare, un po' monotona.

A colazione c era poca scelta e i piccioni sono un vero problema. Nelle stanze non c è sria condizionata e a volte fa caldo quindi si è costretti a dormire con finestre e tapparelle alzate.

Tendo em conta a relação preço/qualidade, fiquei bastante satisfeito com a estadia. O hotel apresenta boas condições para o valor praticado e está muito bem localizado, na zona do Lido, com fácil acesso a vários serviços e pontos de interesse.
Na minha opinião, existem alguns pequenos aspetos que, apesar de não comprometerem a estadia, poderiam elevar bastante a qualidade e a notoriedade do hotel. Destaco principalmente a falta de ar condicionado nos quartos, sobretudo tendo em conta as temperaturas da Madeira, e a dificuldade de estacionamento. Por estar localizado numa zona com muitos hotéis, encontrar lugar nas proximidades pode ser bastante complicado. A existência de mais lugares de estacionamento destinados aos hóspedes seria uma grande mais-valia.
Had a two week stay here, on a B&B basis, staying in a one bedroom apartment on the 5th floor.
Had panoramic sea views & overlooking the pool. The room was very clean (cleaners came daily) and modern. Well equipped kitchen. Large lounge area. Only fault was the balcony needed a little attention.
Dated furniture the floor was dirty. The railings were a little rusty but it seems the hotel are in the process of replacing the railings.
Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful. Great location, close to restaurants and shops.
Loved Madeira, I would definitely return.
