Categories

Cleanliness
9
Multiple guests explicitly praised cleanliness — 'very clean', 'rooms were clean' — so cleanliness is a clear positive.
Service
9.5
Staff repeatedly described as friendly, helpful and professional (individual reception staff named/praised); strong positive sentiment for service.
Location
9
Consistently noted as excellent — close to waterfront, city centre and M&S Bank Arena with easy walking; a few mentions of nearby waste area/youths are minor negatives.
Room Quality
6.5
Many reviews complain rooms and especially bathrooms/showers are very small or 'caravan like'; beds comfortable but room size is a clear negative.
Amenities
8
Free/private parking, EV charging, outside bar and basic in-room facilities (tea/coffee) are positive; limited specialised catering (GF) noted as a gap.
Value for Money
9.5
Multiple guests state excellent price, 'well worth the money' and would stay again — strong positive on value.
Food and Beverage
7.5
Breakfast is often praised, but evening meals receive mixed feedback (repetitive menus, limited choices, GF not well catered) leading to a mildly positive but mixed rating.
Overall Experience
9
Overall stays described as positive for city breaks and events due to location, staff and cleanliness; small rooms and occasional noise/food issues temper the experience.

Hopefully out next visit will be more positive experience
Pros:

We have stayed here multiple times and have enjoyed the hotel on every visit, except our most recent visit.
Staff are always welcoming and friendly.

Cons:

The room we were allocated was facing the main road. The noise from the road continued throughout the night. Guests staying at the hotel who smoked, did this below our room at the front entrance to the hotel. The smell of smoke which drifted up to our room was awful.

Last minute three night stay in Liverpool
Pros:

The waterside room views.

The freshness & choice of the breakfast menu.

The friendliness of the hotel staff.

Plenty of car parking spaces.

Cons:

Someone feeding the seagulls outside at 5.45am, creating an awful loud noise.

Towels & drink supplies not replaced on one day.

Very warm room, but found out later that fans were available.

Would definitely stay here again as it is a great hotel for the money.
Pros:

good location and free parking is a bonus. Room very clean (hotel in general very clean) didn't have breakfast so can't comment.

Cons:

We had a room on the roadside of the hotel so was quite noisy. That said the hotel provided disposal earplugs!! Also the bathroom is very small - OK for us though.
