I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The property is absolutely beautiful, with stunning surroundings that create a truly relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout my visit. I truly loved my experience here and sincerely hope to return again in the near future.
We had a really good time at Jacaranda hotel.
Really nice room, a wounderful garden and a very nice personnel.
Food in the restaurant was really good, and so the service.
We did also feel really safe there.
it was amazing to be at Jacaranda
Location and staff
The hotel is dated and the showers need modernising
The experience was explicit, fun and enjoyable...
I loved the customer service the massuse everyone in there is welcoming.
Joustava henkilökunta
At Jacaranda hotel, Nairobi, I loved the serenity, customer care and the food (Fried rice and chicken/Breakfast) was exquisite. Additionally, I loved the hygiene in the rooms and the surrounding.
Finally, I want to thank the staff of the hotel, especially Josephine at the reception who really helped me a lot when I forgot my passport in the room but she swiftly found it and delivered it to me safely. It showed me that you have a great culture.
I’ve stayed here many times over the years but sadly the last once or twice it can be seen to be deteriorating the staff are still lovely the grounds the pool and the location still good but the food and the service are poor
I ordered a fillet steak that was 40% gristle and tough It was never from a filet
The plates from my room service meal were still outside my room 24 hrs later
I asked to speak to the manager to share my disappointment
I never saw him/her
Breakfast is ok but no better
There are better places to stay nearby at similar prices and I think the time has come to try one for my next visit
Old school - warm friendly staff
Oils do with some upgrades. I don’t have hot water one night.
Been here earlier and wanted to come back. Jacaranda´s location is perfect for meetings and getting around Nairobi, especially if you like to go around the central parts. Breakfast includes all you need, Gym is spacious and well equipped and the pool area and the garden allow you to spend time also outside the hotel room. Sarit shopping center right next door (there is a separate gate from the back of the garden so you can just walk across the street) is a plus with restaurants, cafe´s and shopping opportunities. Not the most fanciest hotel around, but good value for money if you wish to have a nice and comfy place to stay.
Pool is can be crowded at times because of swimming school and at times it can get a bit noisy since the sound proof is not the best one. But all in all, this is only a very minor minus.
I really comnend the service of this hotel especially your waitress Irene who serves me breakfast at 4.30 am. She is very professional
Nice staff, comfortable rooms, peaceful outside area, well equipped gym and very good location. Plenty of eating and drinking options very close. Convenient to be close to a mall.
Not much to dislike
Very nice and clean room every day and an excellent location (everything is nearby). All staff are professional, kind, and respectful. I noticed great and significant improvement compared to my last visit in 2022.
My only concern is about the noise in the corridor and the bar during late evening. Guests and some staff must observe silent time and respect other guests who need good rest in the evening/night and may need to sleep a bit later in the morning.
Most of the bath/hand towels are old and may need to be replaced.
It was just cool. Seating and looking at the Jacaranda trees, strolling and entering Sarit across the road, walking to westlands to take in the true Kenya. It just felt like I will be surely back!
I always hope to find the time during a work trip for a massage - Jacaranda hotel Spa was super accomodating/flexible and made it happen right when I wanted. I was massaged by Beatrice and it was incredible! It was the aromatic massage and the highlights were the hot stones she used in tense areas, the head massage and just generally her skills throughout the 60 minutes of relaxation. I highly recommend getting a massage there, and requesting Beatrice! I will go back for sure!
I really liked the greenery around the whole space. Nice chilling by the pool. Great gym & saunas! Nice restaurant & remarkable hotel workers! Just across the road from Sarit mall. Nice and comfortable rooms! The hotel was buit in 1964, one year after Kenyan independence and is still really classy!
Everything was great! :)
Very friendly staff and comfortable rooms. The staff were very helpful with our child too. Good value for money and would highly recommend. We stayed for 2 nights whilst en route to mombasa.
