Good for its central location with its own peaceful garden
Pros:

Old school - warm friendly staff

Cons:

Oils do with some upgrades. I don’t have hot water one night.

Pros:

Been here earlier and wanted to come back. Jacaranda´s location is perfect for meetings and getting around Nairobi, especially if you like to go around the central parts. Breakfast includes all you need, Gym is spacious and well equipped and the pool area and the garden allow you to spend time also outside the hotel room. Sarit shopping center right next door (there is a separate gate from the back of the garden so you can just walk across the street) is a plus with restaurants, cafe´s and shopping opportunities. Not the most fanciest hotel around, but good value for money if you wish to have a nice and comfy place to stay.

Cons:

Pool is can be crowded at times because of swimming school and at times it can get a bit noisy since the sound proof is not the best one. But all in all, this is only a very minor minus.

The Jacaranda is a great option for people staying in Nairobi for a few days.
Pros:

Nice staff, comfortable rooms, peaceful outside area, well equipped gym and very good location. Plenty of eating and drinking options very close. Convenient to be close to a mall.

Cons:

Not much to dislike

Pros:

I really liked the greenery around the whole space. Nice chilling by the pool. Great gym & saunas! Nice restaurant & remarkable hotel workers! Just across the road from Sarit mall. Nice and comfortable rooms! The hotel was buit in 1964, one year after Kenyan independence and is still really classy!

Everything was great! :)

A good Hotel, but let down by the air-conditioning and shower system and hot water
Pros:

Great location, very friendly staff, good Swimming pool and nice gardens to relax in

Cons:

Some rooms don’t have air-conditioning and the shower system is very awkward and very temperamental. No hot water from the sink.

Nostalgic feeling at Jacaranda after 11 years of my first visit.
Pros:

Friendly and professional staff. The Fitness center/facilities (Gym, sauna and massage) were excellent. Meals were delicious and breakfast consisted of a nice variety of options.

Cons:

My room was directly opposite the pool and on my last night, there was noise at the pool side as early as 4am by some group of kids who came to use the pool and that woke me. I needed a good sleep since I was traveling later that day, but couldn't get one. Kindly restrict usage time for the use of such facilities to a time when guests are awake and place noise restrictions there due to proximity to the rooms.

A relaxing and comfortable stay in a great location
Pros:

The Jacaranda Hotel is a great place to stay in Nairobi. The rooms are comfy and well-kept. The location is excellent - right in the heart of the city but with a peaceful atmosphere. The outdoor spaces are especially nice, giving you a relaxing spot to unwind. On top of that, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, which really makes the experience feel warm and pleasant.

Pros:

Le petit-déjeuner est parfait : sous forme de buffet à volonté, tout est délicieux, il y en pour tous les goûts, toutes les cultures, chaque voyageur du monde pourra être satisfait, avec en plus des animations et des spécialités locales !

Cons:

Tout était parfait ! Le bâtiment, les chambres, les jardins, la piscine, tout est très beau, très propre et très bien tenu. Le personnel est très professionnel et accueillant, soucieux du bien-être de chaque client.

Pros:

Kind and helpful staff, great location, but not much works in room 😅
Pros:

Location is good, breakfast is nice, grounds are nice, hotel is open and breezy

Cons:

Multiple things not working like shower, toilet, phone, tv. Changed rooms once and couldn’t be bothered the second time. If you raised the issues they mostly addressed them. No AC and some rooms you don’t really want to leave the window, so factor that in if you’re someone who gets hot (ceiling fan is there but also sort of broken)
