An excellent location in a sumptious (though pricey) town
Pros:

The location was excellent, with walking distance from beaches, village and all of the bars and restaurants. I could walk to do a quick morning dip in the sea - wonderful. Staff was friendly. Room was a decent size and had a small balcony

Cons:

Santa Margherita Ligure is simply an expensive place to stay, nevertheless, the quality of the room we stayed in pretty low for the price you pay - we were expecting a bit more luxury e.g. for the beds and bathrooms

Un très bon séjour dans un hôtel propre, agréable et avec un personnel accueillant.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cet hôtel. La chambre était très propre, confortable et bien entretenue. Le personnel a été accueillant, souriant et toujours disponible. L’hôtel est bien situé et nous nous y sommes senties très bien. Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de notre séjour.

Cons:

Le seul petit inconvénient concernait la piscine, qui est très profonde (jusqu’à 4 mètres). Avec une jeune enfant, cela demandait un peu plus de vigilance et il aurait été appréciable qu’il y ait une plus grande zone peu profonde. Cela dit, nous nous sommes adaptés et cela n’a pas empêché de profiter de notre séjour.

Pros:

Obsługa hotelowa 5+. Śniadania niczego nie brakowało. Owoce, warzywa, świeże soki bez ograniczeń. Obsługa kelnerska cudowna. Pani o imieniu Electra.. jeśli dobrze pamiętam imię, dostaje 6+♥️za podejście do klientów. Basen z czystą wodą, ręczniki podawane na życzenie. W strefie basenowej można zjeść posiłek . Bardzo polecam obiekt.

Comfortable room, good location, expensive for what you get.
Pros:

The staff were fantastic, very helpful, both reception and cleaning staff. The bed was comfortable. It was in a good, central location to get to the bus, train station, beaches and main part of town.

Cons:

It was expensive for the size of the room and the bathroom. Our view was OK, but it was mostly of a wall.

This Hotel isn't a 5 star but here's the thing many of those European Hotels are old // stuffy & not

We very much enjoyed our first visit ever at the Santa Margherita Ligure B&B Hotel. Honestly they had it all. 1st it's the perfect location a street or so away from the hustle of the town center sitting a bit up hillside over looking the sea. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean & comfortable, and well thought out for most modern travelers including most importantly our room had a wonderful mattress. The pool and pool area including pool lounges were clean. Pool / lounge staff and lifeguards were friendly and accommodating.
