The room was good value for money and clean but the pool was small and annoyingly echoey
Pros:

The price was good and the room was a good size

Cons:

The pool is a lot smaller than it looks on the photo’s and it really echoed to the point where you couldn’t hear what was being said.

Nice food and location
Pros:

Staff and food are always excellent. Stayed here many times which is why we came back.

Cons:

We were surrounded by very noisy families. Constantly swearing and shouting. Arguments throughout the night. Walking through the hotel with no respect for others. Would have been nice for them to have been approached but we saw many staff ignore their behaviour.

Pros:

The staff were friendly

Cons:

The place was run down, the steam room in the pool was out of order and we booked a spa hotel for that reason.
We waited 1 hour for our dinner, I have a autistic child and they knew this, they also said they had not got the soup she wanted after the hour wait, and then made us wait a further 15 minutes for our food. Unacceptable.
The staff didn’t offer our meal free, but did knock off her meal and drinks. I think the whole stay should have been free, we have not come away for years, this was out first little break away and it was ruined and left a bad taste in our mouths. The pool area is falling apart with rust and mould. This place needs a facelift and isn’t worth £100 a night.

Enjoyable stay, value for money.
Pros:

The location of the hotel was perfect. The food especially breakfast was really good. Fresh and all areas were clean.

Cons:

Unfortunately the steam room was not working. The room with two camp beds was quite cramped would have been better with bunk beds.
